Hello everyone, thanks for sharing your concern over this issue of stats not working in-game or the Ubisoft Connect launcher and daily challenges no longer being available.
I have looked into this issue for updates from GR and Connect team and understand that this is something that is not going to be fixed in the launcher or game now.
When a game transitions to a legacy title, the stats tracking in the launcher may be affected and stop working altogether whilst some legacy game stats may remain, the daily challenges will no longer be available too. This decision was made recently for Ghost Recon Wildlands with it being classed as a legacy title now.
Any Ubisoft Connect rewards that were redeemed in-game previously, however, should still be available in your game.
The statistics that have been reset in-game will not be fixed on any platform, due to no team being attached to this title anymore to update or resolve these issues.
We will only be using our IT teams to monitor and maintain the game servers going forward.
I am sorry for any disappointment caused by the discontinuation of stat tracking and challenges.
@ricey19666 Yeah, I'm getting this same issue with the broken challenges.
It's unlikely that Ubisoft will do anything, though, as this game is "no longer under development and receiving updates."
Let's hope that one of the users sees this and is able to lend a hand.

Did check game files, exited and restarted Connect after that, started the game. Back to immediate Open to Friends and an empty challenges field.
I give up, you def don't want me to do the dailies anymore.
At least the TF for today is "Incite warfare between Santa Blanca and Rebels" 4 times.

Seeing the same @ and a string of digits for each challenge and challenge description.
Even if I could find out a way to do the challenges blind, the week's progress towards challenge crates seems to have been reset as I had 9/15 challenges done for the week but am now back to 0, despite today being show as Day 4/7
Additionnaly, the statistics tab within the UConnect page has been completely rest as well, as though I had never played the game: 0 m time played, 0% mission completion, etc.
The quality of work by Ubisoft never ceases to be impressive; to the already mentioned dailies issue, got another one of these:
@mikeweeks Yeah, my wife and I get this a couple times a week, as do the rest of our Task Force.
When the game does something that's entirely preventable with the smallest bit of effort (removing the ability to get stuck in map geometry during a stealth mission), or fails to produce results as intended (blank screens for cutscenes or broken dialog/sound loops or scenery pieces for examples), we call it "pulling an Ubisoft."

@ubi-mark the problem continues, still just seeing the @ numbers instead of descriptions. Also, I had completed 3 of the 5 solo challenges for this week and they are not showing up in the track at the top of the screen (none of the circles are filled in).

@ubi-mark I am having issues with the ghost war dailies. Am new to the game I know, waaay late. But it seems they are still a thing as 2 days ago I had challenges. Since completing those whenever I log on it says I have to wait til midnight of the next day. The next day i log on. Still no challenges with a wait time until the next midnight....
Which js a big issue for a new player cos i need to unlock the good weapons to catch up with the rest
