I was just wanting a Dev or Someone in Charge to Verify if the Expertise XP you get from Supposedly Repeating the Final part of the Tombs mission is a Glitch or if it's okay for Everyone to do it? I have been hearing your Division 2 Content Creators talking about how to do it on their Streams... So it must be okay, right??? I have never used a Glitch/Exploit in this Game with my 4200+hrs Playtime, but with the way people are Bragging about getting to lvl 30 Expertise (I guess I'm doing it the Slow way, because I'm only lvl 7 Expertise...) and most getting their Armor up to 20% Armor each piece and 20% Weapon Damage (I guess it takes a lot of resources to get from lvl 20 to lvl 30..? ***shrug***). I want to get mine done Quick like they did, so I can feel some modicum of Power as a Solo Agent against All of DC & NY!

I really don't like things like this but if it's Okay with the Dev's and 'Powers that be' and as long as everyone can do it because it's just a 'Normal Game Mechanic', I might look into this... Because the Rate I have been going and trying to level my Expertise is SOOOOOO Slow!! Not to mention farming all the Components all the time to level my gear... come on... It's Insane! I Only have 1 full loadout at lvl 7 ... I can't afford to level all my loadouts/gear (at least the pieces I have gotten Proficient with...) I mean Come On, Man ... geesh!

I Thought this was considered an Exploit, but wanted to Hear it come out Officially! I hope the ones who have taken advantage of this Exploit are Dealt with like the last time this happened!! I Hate Seeing Cheaters getting the Best of you guys and Ruining the Fair Play Aspect of the Game!

so MASSIVE put a big red button in the game and said that if you play for an ungodly amount of hours and donate all the proof of all that gameplay to it the item associated with the button would get stronger !!!

so players did it exactly like it was described to do !! yaaayyy

turns out MASSIVE didnt program the button to suposedly work as described and now people are, in your logic, getting sucked into a trap, and until the day MASSIVE decides its time to fix it no one can/should use a specialization they already upgraded rendering the game unplayable... hope you didnt upgrade any or i expect you to not play anymore untill it gets fixed.

and while they take their sweet time more and more people will fall into their trap , is that it ?

now how will they know who "abused" this or who just used their in game upgrade sistem as it was intended to be used? and even in my case where i know , im suposed to do what now ? not play?

they even have a lot of deltas and straight up crashes to force people to relogin several times a day to make it even more confusing , me personaly , i usualy start the game once a day and every time i have to stop i just log out and alt tab until i can come back and relogin to keep going.

ill say it again , would be real funny if this brought any sort of consequences to the players.




EDIT - wrong thread , my reply was about the specialization upgrades that influence your main gun damage , not the tombs exploit , ill leave it in as a valid opinion on that but just wanted to clear this out.

Ha Ha someone should show this to the devs , talk about double standards , NPC shoot around corners , through walls, invisible sniper and grenade throwers , events that just can not be completed on timers by solo players , etc etc etc , it works both ways you know..
Now we will get another nerf , the devs will look at this and add a fix in double time , the player has found a way to get more xp than they should . the devs will break the game to stop it , and so they should , but i think they need to re-read their own terms and conditions and have a long slow look at where the game is going , and what the players are telling them by running this so called glitch , and all like the glitches before this ,

the NPC is one big abuse exploit , the drops is one big abuse exploit and is all to gain an unfair advantage ... FIX IT DEVS ... This is one thing but what about the crash to desktop, ?. the points not counting up , etc etc etc ..

@mlg_totenstille I would like to know how this is considered an exploit when you're playing the game the way it was intended if you die before killing Theo and securing the area you respawn back on the other side of the wall to retry so where is the exploit part?

because of all the talking about it I tried it as well few days before. If I understand it correctly it’s about killing the decoys with the jammer pulse, directly when jumping over the wall, running to the middle, pulse, right? I did it 3 times, playing with full team in heroic. Didn’t recognize major impacts, in fact it was very minimal. Patched in the meantime? How often this would need to be done to get a piece proficient?

Would be stretching the meaning of "exploit" since a key game mechanic is to "rince and repeat"!
