Not only is the key not spawning but absolutely NO achievements are unlocking? I’ve done all of Mastery Challenge 1 with Golds and not a thing. Same for all of the tombs of the fallen. What is going on Ubisoft?!!

@beale96 this is still happening to me and can't complete it because the key doesn't spawn. Wonder when this will end fixed

Dear Sir,
During "The All-Seeing Eye" quest, Mastery Challange of Anderitum Hideout, Trial of the Raven, the goal is find the key, unlock the prisoner and carry the prisoner outside. The key must be on a certain fat big guardian/soldier in the corridor of mission, but somehow if you kill the soldier who has the key before you steal the key, or if you restart the mission unless you finish it without any reward, the key doesnt spawn / appear on this NPC (like its missing) and cant be find anywhere, anyway, whatever you do there is no key (restart the mission, restart the game, restart the pc...its gone for forever) . Without this key, game is stuck and no progress. Please fix this urgently, I believe thousands of people facing this annoying bug. -

I've been playing this game since release. REALLY sucks that I can't even accomplish the bare minimum and achieve the ONLY medal I need to complete the quest. I really like this game..I've logged approximately 650 hours only to look up a response that appears automated. My dailies started working again, so that's a plus.. but fix the dang mastery challenge, please!

Do we have an estimated time range for this very specific bug to be corrected. It looks somehow clear how to reproduce the issue. It is currently impossible to complete the game because of this bug. It drives me angry

The bug will be fixed in the next update (tomorrow 28/06) as far as I see in this article.

I'd like to reach out to you all with an update. The development team have confirmed that this issue wherein the 'key doesn't spawn in Anderitum Trial of the Raven' should be resolved with the release of Title Update 1.5.3! You can read the full patch notes here.
The patch will be deployed today, Tuesday, June 28, at 12 pm UTC/GMT, 2 pm CET, 8 am EDT, 5 am PDT, and 10 pm AEST.
If you are still unable to collect the key after installing the new update, please don't hesitate to share an update within this thread so we can notify the development team. When sharing a new report, please can you provide us with the a video which shows the following:- You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can check this in the main menu screen.
- That you are unable to collect the key
Additionally, please ensure that you have an up-to-date save file uploaded to the Cloud. The support article here can help you to do this.
We can then use these reports to reopen the investigation should the issue persist following the 1.5.3 update.

UPDATE:
It appears that the 1.5.3 update has resolved the issue with the key not spawning, however it seems there is now a different issue. If you steal the key from the guard you are unable to open the cell door as you are prompted for a key. If you kill the guard and collect the key then you can open the cell door and finish the trial but without the 'Remain non-lethal' task completed.
If you are experiencing this issue then could you please post on the new thread created here.

I have the same issue here... Unable to get the key from the big guard. I am on Xbox series X.

Hi @diabetic_man97 if you have installed update 1.5.3 then the issue with the key not spawning should be resolved.
However there is now another issue, if you steal the key then you will be unable to open the cell door. If you kill the guard and auto loot the key then you can open the cell door but you will not receive the Gold medal. This new issue is being investigated and we have a thread for the issue here.Official Response -
Hi, I've installed the 1.5.3 patch which supposedly fixes this, however the key is still not spawning. I have tried everything even uninstalling the game itself. I do not have a save before the trials so I cant go back and do that either. I need this key to finish the game.

Hi @TtvWizGaming1 I am doing a routine check-up on all of the megathreads and noticed that you did not receive a response to your previous post for which I apologise.
This was likely due to the high volume of contacts we received at the time on the forum.
I just wanted to check if you are still experiencing an issue with the key not spawning in Anderitum Trial of the Raven on the latest update, 1.6.1? We have not received any other reports since update 1.5.3 and consider this issue resolved.
If you are still unable to collect the key after installing the latest update then could you please provide a video that demonstrates the issue. We would need to see the following:- You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can check this in the main menu screen before loading your save.
- That you are unable to collect the key in the trial.

I’m having an issue completing the mastery challenge with gold. The fourth guard, a brute, is holding a key, but I cannot steal the key. The options listed when I approach are press x to assassinate or hold x to steal. I think it’s supposed to be hold y to steal. Playing on Xbox series X. The previous patches fixed issues where the key wasn’t available and for others where the key was available, the cage with the prisoner wouldn’t unlock. My issue is I can’t get the key at all unless I kill the guard.

Hey there @MajorCadenza! I merged your topic with the mega thread about this issue, just to keep things more organized. This issue was fixed back in the 1.5.3 patch but if you're encountering the bug again, please send me a screenshot showing which patch version you have installed and I'll be able to get this reopened for the dev team to look into it again. Btw your patch version is visible in the lower corner of the main menu screen. Thanks!
