I'm complaining as I have just received the Ostara event quests in Assassin's Creed Valhalla on the 21st of April 2022 and I've just been notified today on the 22nd that I have less than 48 hours to finish them yet when I first received the quests I had a timer on them that gave me 21 days to do them!!! Why wasn't I given access to this content sooner? Why have I such a limited time to do it in? How am I supposed to get the rewards without time to get them all? I'm so upset, annoyed and disappointed with this and then I look it up and I was supposed to gain access to this content back on the 18th of March??? Why wasn't I told and why didn't I gain access!??? This has made me angry. I expected better of Ubisoft who have continuously proven to be a GREAT company and have consistently been helpful and shown great skill. I love the Assassin's franchise and Ubisoft and it breaks my heart to be let down and mistreated like this.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hello there,

Thank you for continuing to share your experiences from the Ostara Festival within this thread. I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered trouble partaking with this event, and apologise for any impact that this has had in my gaming experience.

As shared in my earlier post, the dedicated teams have confirmed that they would unable to resolve the issue for all impacted players. You can read the full statement from the team below:

We are aware of ongoing issues affecting the load-in of the Ostara Festival for some players. Following a thorough investigation by our team, it will not be possible to resolve the issue for all impacted players. For some users, the Ostara Festival will function as intended after installing the game to the latest Title Update (TU 1.5.1) and reloading a save game dated from April 21 or prior.

The next Title Update (TU 1.5.2) will return Ravensthorpe to a normal state for all impacted players experiencing ongoing issues with their settlements. This TU will be deployed in May.

We thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter.

As the festival is now over, we will now be locking this thread.

We have forwarded the feedback that you have shared following this announcement to the dedicated teams for further consideration. Please note that any compensation offered would be at the discretion of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla team, and this is something that the Player Support team have no influence over. If compensation is to be offered to players, this information will be shared on our official platforms or via in-game notifications.

Any future updates for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be made available in our News & Announcements forum. Additionally, any future events taking place in Ravensthorpe will be shared on our official website, so I recommend keeping an eye out in these places for the most up-to-date information.

@davies3190 - If you are having trouble fast-travelling in-game following the end of Ostara, I recommend that you either look for a similar thread to share your report in or create a new thread so our team can look into this further.

    Thank you 🙂

    Hello,

I´m wondering... When does the Ostara Festival start? It´s the 21st of April yet, but nothing is happening here (Germany). 😰 😉

    Thank you for any information

    Hi.
I can't play some events because the objectives don't come out and all the decoration is not visible, in Ake's mission where you defend the village from the spirits at the end it won't let me finish it because I can't talk to the npc, some eggs easter are floating in the air. I tried changing the map, killing myself, doing a quest, entering the river, loading the same game, repairing the game and nothing works. I loaded an old save from 2 years ago and there you can see the decorations but obviously I'm not going to lose all the progress to use the old save. What I can do?.
    Thank you for reading.

here you can see some of the bugs:

I started my game today and didn't see the Ostara Festival. I know today is the first day.

Played Ostara last year, everything worked smooth, popped in on time, didn't bug.

This year the opening Ostara cutscene started in the completely empty festival area, no decorations, no people, no butterflies, nothing BUT the festive sounds (which disappeared after the cutscene). Then the markers for Ostara Quests showed up, but every quest-related item is missing (i.e. archery challenge is missing the aims).

Playing the game on my main save file, everything is done and completed. In the more recent file with Ravensthorpe still on level 0 the materials and some items for the festival are present, waiting for me to finish one of the arcs and level up the village.

@metroid_meister I've got the exact same issue. The festival but isn't there. I could only do the egg hunt and the twirling targets game let's me talk to the woman but there are no targets there. There's no brawling ring. I can't even find the May queen quest. Nothing is working apart from the egg hunt & once done, there's just a pile of eggs floating in the middle of where the festivities should be.

I'm truly upset by this this this was the main festival I wanted to actually take part in and it's just ruined.

@mekki369 Same problem here. I am playing on my Xbox Series X and have all the dlc including ragnarok. Last year I had no problem with the ostara festival but this year 2022, I was playing the day before 20 April no ostara and then I started playing today 21 April 2022 and after I went to ravensthorpe I noticed a big empty space where last year's ostara was. I first started speaking with Alvis and his problems surrounding the lighting of the fires. And after speaking to Norid about te festival and after I got gifted 20 tokens, still no festival but a big empty space. I deleted all of my AC Valhalla game files and downloaded them all again and installed them and still nothing is showing up on the big empty space where last year the ostara festival was..
Please find the proper workaround so that I can enjoy the ostara festival 2022 please.

NOBODY got this year's Ostara before today. How about you take (a) screenshot(s) and upload it/them to show us what you are seeing?

@xbl_laberbacke I would, but I didn't take a screenshot. I went straight back to the settlement to get these quests done and I'm grinding hard.

Hey @jefurremcf. This years Ostara festival began on April 21st and will go through May 12th. Please ensure your game is updated to 1.5.1. If you still see this error, please attach a screenshot of what you're seeing along with a screenshot showing your game is running 1.5.1. Thanks!

Hey @metroid_meister. I am merging your thread with another where players are reporting similar issues. Please try the steps listed in this troubleshooting guide. If you still cannot access the Ostara Festival, please provide me with screenshots of what you do see, a photo showing your game is updated to 1.5.1 and ensure your save is uploaded to the cloud so I can get this reported!

    Thanks! 🙂

Hi, I am currently at power 289 and have completed a number of areas in England, including Ledecestreschire and Grantbridgescire. Ravensthorpe is at level 5, so I meet the criteria to start the Ostara festival, however when I enter Ravensthorpe (from any angle) it doesn't start and I just see the floating green square in the middle of Ravensthorpe. Can you help?
I have patch 1.5.1 and tried saving, closing and restarting both the game and the ps5 consol.
