Would LOVE it if we could get an update on what your plan is for fixing this. I'm on Series X and have the same issues as everyone else. I have tried all of the steps provided in the thread (pertaining to console, anyway), and we're just chewing clock on this event without any reasonable updates. Let's get this thing up and running, please!

@psychospekz exact same issue, 7 days in on the Ostara Festival. What a bummer.

PS4, updated to 1.5.1, same problems...

• I actually laughed during the intro talk because I thought it was a joke because they were talking about having started decorating while we were standing in the middle of an empty clearing with a couple of sticks piled together
• can't collect the last high floating egg basket
• can't talk to Ake after lighting the fires
• no way to find the bear or whatever is supposed to happen next for the May queen
• no spinning targets to shoot and no way to get out of it other than restarting the whole game after trying to begin the archery challenge
• Norvid wanders around and when talking to him the shop options for the opals (that I would very much like to buy) show up and the intro tokens that are not enough to buy anything are there but the visuals just show the creek or empty festival grounds while we're talking and there's no functioning way to get more tokens to buy anything
• any other challenges, drinking? fighting? whatever is supposed to be there isn't, just empty dirt field with a couple of floating egg baskets
• a couple spots around the settlement (like next to Reda's tent) have what looks like should be the base of a decoration but just ends up looking like a weird patch of color on the ground
• no butterflies, etc.

If I reload something from before April 21st then I lose a ton of hours including the entire new Hildiran mastery challenge arc and that seems like a really bad "solution" to this bug. Is there any chance this is actually going to be a patch or something implemented with enough time to play and enjoy the festival or am I going to have to pick between that and losing many many hours of game play?

(P.S. haven't complained about it before since I hate posting in things like this, but I'm still [censored] to have to spend an extra $40 on top of my supposedly all DLC included gold edition to play Ragnarok just to listen to my boat crew still call me Eivor, etc.)

@ubi-milky i wake up from the DLC Down of Ragnarok and the Ostara Festival doesn't start. There is written to go back to Ravensthorpe, even if i'm there. I tryed to do all you wrote, but the festival doesn't start. I'm playing with PC

there is no festival showing, I can’t do any event. I am on Xbox series X.

Ostara festival is invisible. None of the events are working.

@aorus2017 Just reinstalled the whole game. I still have this issue. Therefore the problem is on Ubisoft side..

A progress has been made! Ake has spoken to me! Some lines of dialogue about the menace and I was prompted to “follow Ake” as the new goal of the quest (‘Spiritual defense’? I’m playing in Spanish and I don’t know what is the proper name of the quest in English). But, after that, Ake has decided to stay at his hut, not going anywhere and, again, not talking to me. Well, we all know this is a very lazy man. I suppose he’ll make something new in a couple of days or more. Maybe before Ostara ends.

I haven’t made anything but play some Reda’s quests these days, and no hot fix has been deployed. Playing version 1.5.1 since the first moment, by the way. So, maybe this means something for the developers. Ake spoke to me when I was around, but it was not the active quest at that moment. And it seems anything more has changed: no targets with Tyra -and the minigame can’t finish, forcing to exit the session without saving-, no signal of the May Queen quest, no arena or drinking minigames (there has to be a drinking game?), no decorations -last egg basket still floating, I suppose on some building not seen-, Norvid still wandering through Ravensthorpe or sleeping in The Drunk Jomsviking’s Pub…).

I too am having the same issue. Not able to participate in the event due to it not being visible in game.

I'm having the issue myself, even still. I have tried loading from an older save, I have tried everything except undownloading and redownloading the game.

@ubi-peach Hello same issue playing on Xbox series s. Once the Ostara update took place, I have had characters glitches then the game just shuts down. Once restarted, the game will resume from your last save. Can play for 10 minutes before it repeats The Ostara update is glitch ridden and probably wasn't tested by ubi before release. The answer to the millions of us experiencing the same exact issues is: WHEN IS UBISOFT GOING TO RELEASE A BUG FIX FOR UPDATE 1.5.1 OR ARE ALL VALHALLA GAMERS DUE FOR A REFUND FOR AN UNPLAYABLE GAME. PLEASE FIX THIS UBISOFT AND STOP TELLING PEOPLE TO TROUBLESHOOT THERE SYSTEMS. GET WORKING ON IT, MILLIONS OF FANS ARE WAITING FOR A FIX SO WE CAN ENJOY OUR FAVORITE GAME.

What a crap, I was about looking for all Eggs, then some Story Event started and know all my Eggs disappeared. Good job! Please provide a possibility to skip these damn events.

Why did all my eggs disapear after a story event took place in my settlement? Now I have to search all eggs again. Please provide a possibility to skip those events. They are annoying.

We were abandoned, there are no answers.
