All I did was change some graphic settings, the game says it will reset if you change these settings I said yes, the game reset then I manually loaded the latest save instead of hitting continue and I was able to continue with the quest... Also I just kept hitting the skip button ( space bar ) threw the hole Havi speaking with Ivaldi scene! I really hope this helps other players with the same problem.

In particular, changing the graphics settings to low seems to help.

I fount a new fix one that worked when lowering the graphics didnt and ive tried for days to get it to work and today i fount one i fast travelled near to the mission to one of the view points then walked to the hideout going down the hole then spoke to ivaldi i dont know if it will work for others but thats what i did so i hope this works for others

Another fix for everyone who hasn't had any luck with the others, I found that dropping the FPS limiter to 30fps fixed the issue for me.

Howdy @Reality_Jetlag - thanks for passing on your experiences with this! Just to clarify, are you saying that moving Valhalla to an SSD rather than your HDD solved this specific issue with Vault of the Ancients? Just wanted to make sure
