skills nerfed in countdown? Countermeasures not working properly?

just got done playing a round of countdown, (with only 3 people, lol we still made it). I was using a stinger hive/seeker bleed build and soon realized my skills did literally zero damage (because of the countermeasures). I then went around and subverted all those and was expecting my skills to do more damage than ever before since they should be buffed now. but no, they were actually still nerfed a bit for some reason.

@metal_greg yeah, same with repair skills and armor regen, its so nerfed (not halved) that its useless for anything inside countdown
the only thing useful there is the gun if you have the damage modifiers activated in countermeasure to kill hunters -
from how many times i went into countdown i noticed the countermeasures were different for a few runs and i've noticed one specifically said 100% hazard protection. No clue if it meant we had it or if the npcs had it.
Also something to note is the new Catharsis mask doesn't work where it knows which is friend and foe. I've seen it drop a cloud and the npc would get immune and possibly a little healing from the cloud, so if one of you 3 ran with that could've countered your bleeding build
