I know, this title thread seems counter productive for anyone who stays on this forum but, what would happen if BP server went shutdown and so does this forum section?
Where else to discuss any current GR games if we currently stays on this forum reliantly?
Discord? Reddit? Twitter? Anything that goes discuss somewhere else about GR games

I don't think the forum will go. There is still a Wildlands forum up and a forum for all the legacy games. As well as that there is Reddit and the Ubisoft Com Devs have a presence there too.

But what would happen if Ubi decides to stop supporting this new forum like Bethesda?
Would you just simply move on from this forum? Or you also join other social media that it has?

@lolt6 well apart from a couple of platform changes, the most recent being this new format, the forum has been around for 20 years and a new section is added when a new game comes out. I don't see any prospect of them turning support for the forum off.

I like using the forum, but you can also find discussions on other social media.

Truthfully, I don't even believe this forum can recover, let alone the game. I used to be here everyday to post at least 10 times per day (and I think I am being optimistic as it could be triple that amount) and now I am barely here on a daily basis as even I have grown tired of the same old posts and/or the new posts asking for more Gear Score or things that don't really belong on a Ghost Recon game that I can't blame the poster because, well, that is the path the studio has taken the game and the franchise... they have bastardize it to hell and back.

By the time they decide to announce a new AAA, more so now with that new guy, I doubt this forum, let alone the game, will get any better. But hey... only time will tell!

@fcac-no-moe The only concern I have is that they're flushing the toilet on us, aggravating our ability to connect, putrid support for troubleshooting- and as interest wanes they'll look at "the spreadsheet" and point out how little traction the Ghost Recon series has and pull the plug. Trashing the forum, offloading the game onto some 10 year old server infrastructure... 0 communication...

I mean nobody stacks up this many goofs by accident. No company in the history of the world ever conducted business this poorly- unless of course it was intentional.

I completely agree with you! If BP went down, this whole forum would be dead in the water.

Well, that's not saying much as what we have here now is barely a few survivors and masochists like me LOL

@Lolt6 honestly if the forum were down I am not sure I'd even notice. There hasn't been anything new to discuss here in what a year? maybe longer?

@Steven527 Yeah once they completely failed on the forum redo I think the futility of Ubisoft making anything that doesn't suck became pretty evident. With that said Ghost Recon is pretty well represented in Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Wildlands/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/GhostRecon/ most notably) and there are always lots of conversations happening there. Mostly just a fashion show but hey- that's a big part of it. That discord channel seems pretty busy too- can't link to that right this second but yeah loads of chatter over there.

Ubisoft is no better represented here than there so for the most part I'm just here to try and help folks having issues in Wildlands since the support staff are inherently incompetent... Otherwise I barely open these forums up anymore. To your point- what are we going to talk about?

Ha!, one could easily argue that this is NOT the place where they gather, get or collect their information from and I say this with some authority seeing the feedback given vs the return gotten (Flatline and/or Xdefecation) as part of TC or GR.

Then again, calling this thing a forum is an insult to forums but, it is what they can afford since its our fault Brokepoint failed miserably. Oh Wait!!! it seems pretty much ALL of their games failed since this thing called a forum is the same for ALL of their games.

The lack of communication perhaps? or their childish and blurry vision? These two could be a pretty good start. I mean, I would love to know what kind of mushrooms did that guy ate before he thought having a mythological creature in GR would be an Awesomeness & Coolio idea. And Hey, we promised not to broach the Raid thing.
