Maybe it is just me but the yellow color areas (icons, images) sure do not seem to be the correct choice when using a white background color.
How about a nice green or light blue ?
Just a random thought from an older guy : )
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I wish that was the only gripe I had regarding this forum.
This place is so clunky, it's painful to use. It's like the designers decided to take all the worst aspects from RS+ and transposed them to a forum without considering how forums are actually used.
@femacejo I also find the forum clunky, seem to me the forum suffer the same disease as almost everything being launched these days, the focus on handheld devices and scrolling with fingers on touch screen seems to overshadow all other usability.
@femacejo Yeah I'm still not getting the whole RS+ slew of design decisions ... so people that are serious about learning guitar use a phone? That's a question, not a sarcastic comment. I use a 47" computer monitor (actually TV) ... so I would have room for lots of information .. not giant coloring book style graphics. Anyway ... hopefully RS+ will be out in whatever form before we are all using floating 3D hologram displays.
@dataway yeah, I am planning to put it on a new TV, most likely a 55" - measured the place where I have planed, and thats the biggest size I can have.
From an accessibility perspective, it's pretty appalling. Just using a couple of a11y plugins highlights a load of problems.
e.g. this using the WAVE plugin:
The contrast is just one; but also the most trivial to fix I would expect.
Hey,
I don't think that is much brighter than the old one but it's fine-looking Bright Yellow on the interface.
