During the mission “Cold embers”(or Cold ashes maybe) of the new DLC, when I need to secretly peeking the ritual of fire giants, I was found and the ritual was cancelled, then I shoot the leader, called Calder, to death. I know I shouldn't do it but I did. Now, because of the death of the leader Calder, the ritual never resume or restart on every night, so my mission stuck here.
Hope someone could fix this bug by putting this Calder back and thus restart the ritual, really thanks.

@bdzycxc You are not alone, I did the same thing and now I’m also stuck. Hopefully there is a patch or a solution soon.

@ubi-orion I myself have found an issue with the Cold Embers mission. In the blood puddle section of the investigation, the first thing that I investigated didn't register, despite the cutscene and dialogue playing. It made it to where my investigation was stuck at 80%, and because I couldn't just reinvestigate, it stayed broken. I can't beat the mission now.

I failed this quest first time by just observing (rather than killing Calder) and it would never reset. Using Odin's sight, I went to the highlighted spot in the lava near to Calder and the controls completely froze. On completely quitting the game and restarting, I found that the quest had been reset and I was able to complete it.

i join this problem and i tried several ways and it has not worked including what odin view is mentioned

@gabytzu08 I have not save before this quest ,I have tried re-install game and I don't solve problem.

I also made the mistake of killing him and now everything is glitching. I try to complete Kara's quests but after I kill everyone, nothing happens. I tried killing myself in the lava but nothing happened and I couldn't even load from a previous save. After closing and reopening, I tried a different storyline quest and it also won't let me progress. I will take a break from Valhalla until these glitches are fixed but please address them soon!

Killed Calder in Cold Embers and now I can't continue. It says to try again the following night. But the ritual never takes place. When will this be fixed? I'm already mad that I bought the season pass. Then Ubisoft charged me for Ragnarok when the other dlc were complete trash!!!!
