Locked Unsolved Game requires an activation code

Hello, I would like to ask how that even though the Assassins creed game was free, it wants some code that I didn't get. At the same time when I open ubisoft connect it tells me to buy the full game please advise me what to do. -
"Was" is the important word. They didn't just give away their latest game for free.

Hi @rapro_player could you please confirm which Assassin's Creed game you are referring to, is it Assassin's Creed Valhalla? If so the free weekend trial was only available between February 24th until February 28th as mentioned by The Norfolkian.

@rapro_player Dude... I literally asked you if you had downloaded it during the free trial period and you said no. Next time please pay more attention. Also, I highly recommend you wait for the Valhalla Complete Edition to go on sale before you decide to continue with the game... or at the very least, wait for the base game to go on sale.
