@travelan hopefully with a better game once they're ready, though you can always refund it if you're unhappy.
Don't really see why they'd have to "compensate" us
Settlers IV with the new graphics... perfect game! The road building looks fun though.
Can we get some new Settlers IV missions in the meantime? I just replayed all of them - so good.
@misa_kitten Not sure if we are actually able to cancel the pre-order. Thanks for the tip! Will be playing AoE IV tonight then!
Wise decision. Better to wait for a great game than play with an average one
Please could you update your facebook page and give us an indication of when the game will be back online, thanks you
i pre-ordered it awhile back, but then i got refunded back but i lost my coins for ubisoft "100 coins" is there away i can get my 100 coins back???????
@vaubkiblis I'm not sure but I do believe the coins are for games that you purchased and kept.
If you got refunded, that means the money you paid got back at you.
So the coins got cancelled as well.
Seems fair to me.
I understand that the new Settlers game only a Beta version, why don't you guy offer a free trial or free beta game for us tu test and try first.
Thanks,
@frodosam1 And what a surprise will it be ...!!! The same game slightly better in some point ... Just more AOEish...
Any new news on what is happening with this game? After the delay end of March communication there has not been any info for a month now.
Can the devs open up the previous demo for example so those of us who have pre purchased have something to play until launch of the game and do not feel atm hard done?
@fil_903 I have a tip for you, get The Settlers 4 if you want the full Settlers experience, I bought it for EU 2,45 and installed the recently released (unofficial) HD patch which makes this game so much better graphically. I'm afraid this new silence will be a looooooong loooooong silence......again. I hope that I'm wrong!
@olddraenor Of course not. Its Ubisoft Düsseldorf. Their community work is catastrophic since years.
We can not expect anything from them anymore after being excluded for 1.5 years while they secretly changed the whole game.
They will continue exactly how they did in the past.
@ubi-barbalatu @editorial still no news? Not a single infographic with plans of improvement or just a sketch on paper? Anything will do if we can get some clarity. Please give us something, don't make the same mistake to stay silent for ages and present us something without any communication with us, the players/Settlers fans. Hope you are still alive and kicking and let us know what you're up to very soon.
hello,
Where are we ?
For people who have pre-purchased the game, we would like to have more info please
Hi, I hope the redevelopment goes well. Really can't wait! I think many people were incredibly disappointed in the complete lack of economy customisation and overall simplicity. There was less economic customisation than existed in Settlers 2! At least in Settlers 2 you could give priority to an ordered building.. this was refined in Settlers 7 very nicely with the Task list. Bit I would go back to the original idea where you could give a building priority (for building queue purposes) but also give a building a resource priority. In previous games, possibly still Settlers 2, you could shuffle the priority of goods around the settlement. I liked this, but it was somewhat cumbersome. Rather than having that sort of interface, what not be able to set Priority at a building level for resources, ie I want my Slaughter House to get food First! Because if they aren't being fed they don't produce food.. it Always bugged me in Settlers 7 that my Slaughter House often starved.. when they made the high quality food! Anyway, there is a Massive resource of people who love this game series who would love to help mold the new game. I imagine most of us would be more than happy to test buggy beta's.. I'm happy to sign any kind of non-disclosure agreement including not mentioning a thing to anyone regarding development that wasn't a developer.. I've done it before! I just want the game to be the best it can be!

@Ubi-Barbalatu ‘As soon as we have something to share’ - we have heard the same thing before, followed by 1.5 years of silence, and then a beta that came as a sorrow disappointment. We understand that the decision to postpone the game once again must have been hard, but perhaps it might have been avoided, and the game’s direction changed much sooner if Ubisoft kept in touch with the fanbase? I mean if you’ve told us that your vision is to cut out the economic part out of an economic game, you could have gotten the same feedback you got from the beta more than a year ago? Please, please don’t make the same mistake again. Two months have passed - enough to have an internal discussion and come to us with your current ideas.
