Unsolved Game performance issues since installing the 1.5.0 update

Hi, after downloading the latest update 1.5.0, my game has been running slow, showing a blank map, and constantly loading. Does anyone know how to fix this?

@jsm91902 Verify AC Valhalla game files. Some might be corrupted. If there are corrupted files you will be prompted to select repair.

There is a fps drop after installing assassin's creed valhalla 1.5.0 pc. Especially in towns and cities, I drop 40 fps in sudden movements. I verified and repaired the game's files but still low fps. 3060ti, amd ryzen 5 3600, 16gb ram, sdd.

I am also sorry to hear that you are also experiencing FPS drops after the 1.5.0 update.
Could you take a look at the PC troubleshooting article and run through all the steps listed then try again. The support article contains some of the most common fixes for crashes, freezing, FPS drops and more.

I am having the same issue, up until 1.5.0 I was able to get an average of 55 FPS in gameplay on Ultra High graphics quality settings. Since that update it has dropped down to an average of 30 FPS, lowering the graphics quality to Very High only improves it to about 40 FPS, on that setting I used to get 70 FPS or more. I have tried verifying game files, even uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I always keep my graphics card drivers up to date, my system specs more than exceed the recommended system requirements, and my other games are running normally. The performance issues actually seemed to get worse with the release of patch 1.5.1.

GPU: GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
RAM: 64 GB DDR4 3200
Storage: Western Digital Black M.2 NvE SSD. -

I'd like to have you run through any of the steps you haven't already from the guide @Ubi-Keo provided above.
If you're still running into the low FPS, please create a Support Case and attach your System Files, then update me so that I can take a better look at what's happening.
