I am sure there are allots of good suggestions from the members/fans for the new season 4 New World and dev team have some ideals too, but some more won't hurt! As everyone knows some of islands are small and there isn't a lot of space for houses, farming with tractors, and all productions all taken up allots of space so building is limited for example the tobacco plantation is 288 titles is too big for a small island, so for my Suggestions would be.

    1. Hydroelectric Dam to power the production lines and too boost it instead of having too many of the same production we then only need a few, 2. CommuterPier that would benefit the islands more in the new world just like it is does in the old world to free up space on the islands when needed 3. New House stacking on the hill if it could be done! Or give one more tier for houses! It will also free up even more free space on the islands. And last a DLC New world Mexico Halloween Dia De Los Muertos plus for the old world a City beach that is missing

    Thank you😁

    CommuterPier

    House stacking on a hill

And Last a New world Halloween

    City Beach

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@aorus2017 Love the idea of houses stacking on the mountains! Perhaps this could be a New World speciality building like the sky scrapers are for Old World.

Introducing electricity in the New World would be really nice too. Perhaps we should have a special embassy that would allow us to send engineers to NW and help with the construction of power plants and a dam.

And yes, commuter peer in NW please!

@aorus2017 I totally get the need for some kind of commuter pier for the new world but I'd like them to try a more creative approach. One thought I had is how cool would it be if you could build Olympic class ships to transport population to the new world? The monument could be one final giant vessel like Titanic or the less infamous Britannic. Not 100% sure how they'd implement the mechanic but it fits the time period and game perfectly and opens up a world of opportunities.

Like your idea but I don't think we will get any more ships!

    @nathilion
Sky Scrapers would be too big for New world, maybe a new docklands is needed new world! What we got so far is limited.

Hydroelectric Dam - yeah I'd like some more alternative energy generation options in general, I'd even be happy with simple water wheels on rivers. I've always assumed the limitation was the terrain for the existing regions. So there are only river slots found in Enbesa because they can't be retrospectively added to the other regions. Which is a shame - even if the Eden Burning style dams are out, river slots for all regions means you could have different types of river slots unique to each region like water wheels, weirs, gold sifting, ice fishing etc.

Commuter pier for the New World - absolutely! 👍

Very frequently suggested, so I'm really hoping it finds it's way into the Season 4 DLC for the New World.

House stacking on a hill - I have an existing wish for the High Life game mechanics to be extended to the other residential tiers since the population spread in Anno 1800 is totally off. High density living options should have come to the working classes since they are supposed to be in much greater numbers than the idle rich! Hadn't thought of the house stacking on hills as the New World equivalent which would be cool since it has always been a visual shame that the AI get to build all over the mountains and we're stuck using grids on the ground. I always assume it's hard to retcon terrain stuff though.

New World Halloween - yes please, though I'm an easy sell for the cosmetics. I'd actually like a whole Halloween cosmetic DLC for the Old World too (plenty of gothic haunted house skins etc) and variants for each region. If Anno had a whole "festivals" menu option and regularly released ornament packs for lots of different holidays I'd probably buy every single one.

City beach - completely agree, the lack of 19th century pleasure piers is a significant omission almost as bad as tea and porcelain from an East Asian themed region! There are HEAPS of cool gameplay mechanics that can be found by the seaside...

A large water wheel on the rivers would be a good idea too, if a dam couldn't be built in the new world! There are many different holidays all over the world and we only got Christmas pack? I just hope at the end of 2022 we see Season 5 Pass and hoping to see the last region to be added to the Anno game East Asian?

    @aorus2017

I would be happy to exchange all of my saved games and start from scratch if it meant river slots were retrospectively added to the other regions to allow for water wheels.

Each AI character can even have one particular holiday as their "special" holiday. e.g.
    Artur Gasparov: Bastille Day
    Beryl O'Mara: St Patrick's Day
    Princess Qing: Chinese New Year
Dr Hugo Mercier: International Workers Day
Lady Margaret Hunt: International Firefighter's Day...
Anne Harlow: Talk Like a Pirate Day

If there's never an Asian themed region in Anno 1800 it's going to feel like the game is forever not-quite-finished...

Thank you for your wishes on the upcoming Season 4 🙂

As you might imagine, the rough designs for the individual DLC are already done to a certain degree, but especially for the last one there's still some room.
Looking at a few threads on the topic of S4, I believe some of your ideas are also part of our plans and then we got a few more surprises in the mix 😉

With 2 million players on Anno 1800, imo I don't think the game is quite finished we see! I agree with the special holidays with Halloween

Yesterday I was discussing season 4 with Aestris during his stream on twitch which created some ideas in my mind.

    1. Third tier of population in New World, the name I came up with is kinda simple and familiar for English-speaking people: administradores.
They have a knack for administration and management and the idea is that their workforce could be used on already existing buildings in order to improve their functionality. For example adding administradores workforce to coffee roasters could improve their productivity, lower obreros workforce etc. Of course the new tier should come with some new needs and buildings (including electricity feature being available in New World now).
They could also be used as workforce at upgraded harbour buildings. For example a depot upgrade which would provide much more storage if supplied with administradores workforce.

    2. Just like in 2205, the New World would have an alternative housing of bigger size, something like 5x5. They would be like favelas, higher density of jornalero and obrero population. But with a positive Anno spin on the real favelas, such residences would provide more population and more workforce from the same space, but instead of the favelas being poor like in reality, they would have some additional need/needs to compensate for higher population density.

I thought about the new incoming Season Pass and now I know what Anno 1800 needs. New region in the New World. Something like Cape Trelawney in the Old Worlds. There is still a lack of space in the New World. I conquered almost all the islands, introduced tractors in plantations and still suffer from a lack of space. I don't even think about Museums, Botanical Gardens, ornaments etc. It is especially troublesome when you need to provide tourists and skyscraper population with resources that are partially acquired in the New World. The new region is the natural development path of Anno 1800 gameplay. What do you think about that?

There is allots of discussing on how the new Season 4 Pass with pan out but we have to wait and see what's in store for us! A second tier in new world would be a much better idea for housing in 1800 era than a third/fourth/filth considering how the islands are small - medium size having a fourth/filth would look like something set in 2205 era, IMO

We don't need another Cape Trelawney island in the new world, the setting wouldn't sit right If there was another New region like Asia, having one big island like Cape Trelawney with small to medium islands around it would sit right for that region I am sure the Anno team would love to explore other new regions too!

The most elitist class could be called barons. This is a term known when it was used to refer people who became rich and owned oligopolies and monopolies, such as oil, finance, coffee (in Brazil) etc.
I will post pictures of actually homes in Brazil in XIX Century. Eletricity and lightining poles is mandatory, it was done in Rio in early 1850

Copacabana could be s perfect setting for City Beach DLC. High level of happiness could trigger festivals that takes form of The Carnival in Rio de Janeiro with samba music. Building of Christ the Redeemer monument as a side quest. Hotels, Mesoamerican pyramids as tourist attractions, it could be a new version of Tourist Season DLC.
