Must have spent more than 3 hours going from monastery to monastery to get a avenge quest but nothing turned up, some days I get loads all at once, but today I get nothing. Anyone else have the same bad luck?

@fudz4 same bad luck here. I went my regular route up the Maun river (where I usually get at least 1 avenge quest, often 2, between 3 enemy locations), but nothing today.

edit: left Eivor idling for 10m to write this and had one pop up in East Anglia. I also sacrificed myself by boar there to pay it forward.

I haven't had any revenge quests since I got back to Ravensthorpe and I gained access to Reda's shop (and also the festival started, which also caused my game to crash in the intro). It's been many days since I've seen one.

Because I wasn't getting them I actually thought it was because they move to Reda's shop as contracts, so they won't show up on the map any more.

So these posts have showed me that was wrong and maybe it's just my game.

Why they keep this in the challenges section is beyond me.

It's the only challenge completely random dependent.

You might get it, you may not. Who knows.
When they introduced it people got around to a certain location to die over and over in order to trigger - like [censored] that can't be the way to get something done.



Ubi1= we need another challenge!

I have the weird feeling that some challenges are made to use us as beta tester for their game issues, and some of their silent implementations...

It would be nice if Ubisoft Cie stopped bullying his consumers (and "their" employees too)...

(my English is approximative, but the weird feeling I have about how the direction is managing games, employees and consumers is not approximative at all)

I always wait at this farm on the Pic below, Scotthoh farm, sometimes i got one at the Tower or the farm. Wait time change
But my best place is in France at the Villa from Amiens, i kill all and wait i got the quest. Sometimes fast, sometimes i can go to toilet and read a book
When i played the DLC i got very fast this quests everywhere but now without quests they are harder to get..maybe

Meanwhile, I'm still sticking with Eivor stuck in the bottom right corner of the screen... the only way to get rid of this is to quit the game...really weird assassination challenge !

I got them very fast after i find out what they mean with corner and cover , also in the Villa from Amiens. Wait behind a wall, whistle and when prompted assinate he catch and kill him.

In France i made direct 2 Avenge Quest, one in the Villa and one in the Pont-de-l'Arche in 30 minutes

the "problem" is that I still haven't downloaded the SoP DLC (This way I didn't had the "No boots bug")

but I could already complete this "corner challenge" in Meldeburne and Scotthoh farm (each time I had the Screen corner bug...)

Ah, ok. Had this bug but doesnt matter me, use still month same gear.
I hate more the list always jump to begin after upgrade one item. If you upgrade it 2 times you must search it again and the list isnt short.

100% agree,
just struggled changing for 2 runes that were at the very botton of the list...
the good thing is that they added an easy to use "remove all runes" button (usefull in my case)

after a month or so of correct work of the challenge, today seems impossible to me to spot a dead player to start the quest....anyone got a tip to help me? Thx in advance.

you may have to wait some minutes, meanwhile you can practice the "Corner Ashashinations" at the Ruined Tower and at the farm

Since the last ubisoft connect challenge update (thursday 6pm GMT+1) ; they're not anymore "avenge a player's death" showing up and it's needed to complete all this weeks challenges.
All the other challenges are perfectly working.

Actually, I suspect ubi higher-ups give the devs nonsensical quotas to fill. i.e. you must increase playtime by xx%

So they give us this avenge challenge, and then turn down the incidence of avenge challenges. Meanwhile, check for add-ons and load times for river raids are slowly approaching infinity.
