    Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that your game keeps crashing.

    Can you please confirm if the crashes became frequent following TU15, by any chance? If that's the case, our team is currently investigating this issue and as soon as we have an update, we will let everyone know through the patch notes.

    If, however, that's a recent situation, can you please perform all of the troubleshooting steps listed in this article? This will help you to eliminate any potential software conflicts.

    @Ubi-Mark Hi Mark, its the same on my PC. before the last Patch was added, the Game crashes two-three times in a row, and could get killed by Taskmanager. Now, I started playing The Golden Bullet Event 30 minutes ago, and i got two crashes. First Freeze of Game, i could kill the Task with Taskmanager, but the with second crash i needed to restart my PC. Whats going on? I thought it was fixed with the patch!

    The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff806324a60c0, 0x0000000000000000, 0xffffffffffffffff)

    Common causes of these blue screens

    • An outdated or misbehaving device driver.
    • Computer virus.
    • A corrupted program.
    • A problem with your computer's memory.
    • Hard disk or motherboard is corrupted

    @WAN_Bomberman Hey, reading another thread a guy recommended a fix that worked really well for me.

    >delete the shader cache folders everytime a new update comes out .

    I can see that this issue is still being investigated by the development team. Once we have more details to share, we will let everyone know through the patch notes. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this.

    I also merged this thread with our megathread for better visibility.

    Finally a patch for CTD was released. Now we can CTD even more than before. 2 years of investigation by the development team paid of.

    @campodelviolin doesn't work, I delete the 2 shader cache files and also all the uplay cache files every time before I launch the game, game still crashes as usual

    @campodelviolin It's also a shame that I'd really like to play during the apparel event, but the crashes make it really frustrating, so timewise I probably won't be able to complete it 😞

    So much for the latest PC FIX in TU 15.4 UBISOFT
    This still continues to happen - The program TheDivision2.exe version stopped interacting with Windows and was closed.
    The game on PC has become even worse than it was since the latest update. Frame rate drops from like 80 FPS to 12 FPS then crashing, sound issues, NPC’s not taking damage and so much more.
    It feels like you running this game on a server you bought from Banggood and the entire world connects to this 1 server.
    I honestly think UBISOFT have no idea what they are doing, this game has been plagued with performance issues and endless bugs that the DEV's just don’t care, UBISOFT have made their money with this game, now it’s just an expense for them so they don’t care all they care about is releasing new content rather than investing in fixing the game. Anything new that’s realised, just breaks things even more.
    In the latest Division 2 Agent Briefing they talked about being TRANSPARENT yet they have not even let us know what the so-called PC crash issue was caused by and what they did to fix it. 
    The reason for that is because it’s all crap they fixed nothing.

    Just been thrown out again after completing controlled access, resource convoys and library checkpoint, that is, almost. All gained XP and loot lost because the NPCs were all over the place. And of course just as you are about to finish the control point' last wave and every enemy is finally killed so you can collect XP and stuff lying around, you're kicked from the server. Next spawn at settlement with Delta-5 error.

    First time I used sniper at that location and was able to see NPC just appear out of thin air standing on streets while the using scope. Suggestion to put this game on list of services that are going to be shutdown as well. Doesn't make much sense to play in the first place. Simply putting on line of text in some patch notes stating it's fixed (or at best improved) doesn't solve anything.

    And why do I always get Delta-5 errors when starting the game for first time?

    Limit the frames to max 85 (or less) in game. Uncapped crashes constantly.. I'm having a good time with it capped, play for hours no issues on DX12 ultra.

    @echolecter I have isolated what makes Division 2 crashing to desktop without any error messages.
    It is Easy Anti Cheat.
    If you set Anti Cheat to run on single and dual cores and not on all cores then game will work but it will be choppy.
    Ubisoft need to fic Easy Anti Cheat.

    If the "development team" cant fix this issue, they should be fired and replace with new people who probably could do better job than them. just saying F U to the dev team, cause this game keep crashing since launch...

    This is the 2nd time game crashed after TU15.4

    Just need to destroy the yellow switch box at 21:00 (in game time) to retrieve the the mask from the hunter, then this happen. Now I need to reset the whole steps again.

    Great work with a (time-dependent) collectible, but good luck with the (unpredictable) crashes.

    @Meridian113 The problems aren't on PC, it's on server side. Stopped tweaking years ago and it really doesn't matter what you do, these are all placebo solutions. Players have absolutely no control what happens on servers, and communication between them. There is a pattern when you're is about to crash, sometimes it does, other times you have to wait longer when the game is not responding, as in waiting on server data.

    @Meridian113 EasyAnticheat has been a requirement to run this game since Division 2 was released and it (division 2) has not always crashed or stopped responding. This issue has been introduced into the game through updates to this software by the developers and can only be undone by the developers, period.
