hey guys, i have a problem with arcade editor, i can't add AI coz the tiles where i can pick them disappeared... (see image below) any idea why? it happened after i changed to dark theme and switching back did not fix the problem, neither did resetting the layout, i even reinstalled it and it's still the same.

also the manual is unavailable from the help menu, it brings you to far cry 6 website.

if anyone knows where to find the official and complete manual, please let me know!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@jinxxpal Ah, try running/applying the registry file at https://steve.farcry.eu/files/FC5Editor_Steve64bWindowLayout.reg: (https://steve.farcry.eu/files/FC5Editor_Steve64bWindowLayout.reg) , it should restore the AI window position to normal.
If that doesn't help, https://steve.farcry.eu/files/FC5Editor_CleanRegistry.reg: (https://steve.farcry.eu/files/FC5Editor_CleanRegistry.reg) is more extensive, but should remove the entries from the Registry, after which the Editor will start with default values on restart.

@Steve64b I have already found this video, but it's not a solution. My problem is not that I cant open the AI panel and resize the panes, but that even if I do so, the NPC tiles are just not there, as seen on the above screenshot.

also here's a video to show it:

@jinxxpal same principle applies: inside the tool window, move the window panel frame divider up. It's obscuring the rest.

@steve64b thanks for your efforts, but it's not working.

i made a new video to explain better why:

@jinxxpal Guess I made a video too, to demonstrate what I meant:

    Happy holidays! 🙂

@steve64b thanks so much, i'm really grateful for your enthusiasm to help, you alone have done more for me than ubisoft support! xD

unfortunately my problem seems to be different tho, it looks like the pane with the AI character tiles somehow "slid under" the other pane, and that's why I can't unhide it.

i switched back the theme to dark, and in that mode it clearly shows, that in the AI section there should be 2 pane dividers (the thick white lines in my video below), but only one is visible.

the weird thing to me is, that even after i uninstalled the whole thing, including ubisoft connect and all ubisoft games, and reinstalled far cry 5, the AI character tiles are still "hidden"... so the sizing of the panels must be stored somewhere that does't get deleted when uninstalling everything. (I even did some manual deletions of game files that remained after the uninstall)

anyways, thanks for your time, and happy holidays to you as well! also, if you have further ideas, i'm happy to hear them!

@steve64b Thanks for the tip! I have deleted my fb a month ago, but I will check out the discord, it might be also a good place to promote the stuff I create, right? Currently I'm working on a scifi / western themed map inspired by Westworld, with lots of easter eggs...
