Someone with less or no ADD, have mercy and summarize all of the BS in that huge report and consolidate the good & pertinent things because I still couldn't see it. I must admit, I couldn't finished it, hence, why I am asking. The first few paragraph were just to put some bloating content... in my opinion of course.

Now, I was googling something on my mobile phone, which I hardly ever do and this thing popped in one of the news google gives you now.
    https://www.pcgamer.com/storybook-brawl-crypto-review-bomb/

he doesn't know yet exactly how blockchain technology will be integrated into Storybook Brawl, except that it will be "ethical" and "create fun for players." A lot of those players are not buying either company's reassurances.

    Ethical?

    Create fun for Players?

LOL ... where have I seen that before? And is it any wonder the players are skeptical?

This blockchain thing could be the next bottled water or sliced bread but I do believe I will miss out on becoming rich from investing on it. 😊

The END of Ghost Breakpoint, and its NFTs: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2022-04-06-ubisoft-ends-ghost-recon-breakpoint-development-working-on-nfts-for-other-titles: (https://gamesindustry.biz/articles/2022-04-06-ubisoft-ends-ghost-recon-breakpoint-development-working-on-nfts-for-other-titles)
And now Ubisoft MUST add these "NFT items" unto the in-game Store or Ubisoft Connect of Ghost Recon Breakpoint!!!!

    MUST?

I am afraid Ubisoft does not know nor understand what the definition of "Must" is so... I wouldn't hold my breath for it if I were you.

Now, if they do is because they will believe that it will bring them some money, more than what they will invest on it so I wouldn't count on it working as one think should work either.

I have said before I rather much buy option stocks and ETF which volatility is known for, than buy anything with crypto marketing.

@killorio It looks like NFTs were the only reason why Ubisoft was continuing to support this title for this long.

I meant more as a prediction than an obligation. But what you said in last line is what I think, Ubisoft will make more money of Quartz items through Normal ways (in-game store or even Ubisoft Connect) than counting on the tiny niche that actually own them.

@Sleezure Disagreed, Ubisoft used NFTs to keeping supporting Ghost Recon Breakpoint only after "Operation Motherland" DLC. Which upsets me because Ubisoft should have invested on better content, such as bringing Moa Island and putting a new, reworked Raid there.

Thought someone more engaged would have provided this link by now. What I found of interest, and a chuckle, was at about the 7:31 mark if you wish to skip ahead.

Condescending and Insulting consumers until the end... Kinda like the Helos in BP going down in flames but managing to still have eagle eyes and shooting back. 😁

But I do wonder if the people that were suckered into and even bamboozled into buying this NFTs think that they truly left a mark?

Or are the ashame now but like any human being that has been at some point suckered into buying something will learn the lesson?

Well, I think it is finally time to close this thread. It no longer has a purpose: nobody liked Ubisoft Quartz, which flopped, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint is officially dead. Do it, administrator/moderators.

By that same sentiment, they should closed the forum since none of the posts has any purpose or makes any sense w/o communication with the host, we have been talking and fighting amongst ourselves since before the inception of this, whatever they call this 1 penny forum.

    this was their first attempt.
they will try again, again, and again till they break the consumer into accepting it as the norm.. like how they did with all of their BS like pre orders, season passe(S), battle passes, and the rest of it. they release NFT on a dying game as a test bed and than nuke the game itself lmao. love it.

Ohhhhh, I have no doubt and I am under NO illusion that this will be the end of the NFTs being shoved down our throats. I am also NOT naive enough to believe that if there is another AAA Ghost Recon game that it will not only be riddle of NFTs but it will be a rinse and repeat of all Genres mixed into it ... for a better player experience of course!

    NFT = New FLOP Tier

Bruh, this never worked when the game was being supported (well, it hasn't been for a while but there was no official word otherwise!). Now that they have OFFICIALLY announced it will no longer be, do you honestly think they will fix whatever you want them to fix about it?

I said it from the beginning, this was a Pyramid scheme and only those on top will make money, the rest will lose and lose big... jotted down to lesson learn and move on.

Like we have said before, next time vote with your wallet and the less you buy from them, the more they will learn not to lie or be dishonest. That or next time you buy something it will have a different name in the Publisher... but I would still wait for the jury to comeback with a positive outcome.

After "Operation Motherland", definitely, I'm afraid. If somehow Ubisoft Quartz had succeeded, I believe Ubisoft would have still been supporting Ghost REcon Breakpoint, and we could even have received Moa Island.

Anyway, since this thread is still unlocked, I am sharing here an enlightening video about NFTs and all legal issues with them.

I think Ubisoft really missed the boat here ...

"Madonna defends 3d xxx NFT ... it's just art!!!"

    https://www.tmz.com/2022/05/12/madonna-defend-nft-[censored]-giving-birth-plant-flowers/: (https://tmz.com/2022/05/12/madonna-defend-nft-[censored]-giving-birth-plant-flowers)

Given the "plant a tree" activity added to this "tactical squad shooter" game, we could also do:

"So, it looks like Madonnajust gave birth to a tree?"

    https://www.creativebloq.com/news/madonna-nft: (https://creativebloq.com/news/madonna-nft)

Just think of the possibilities with your Nomad character - whether female or male ...

This just gets better and better as the days go by LOL

Madonna is now converted to them? I wonder how much they paid her and I also wonder how many gullible lemmings will fall from it... and I am sure there will be plenty of those, the world is still full of them.

Did I misunderstood Killorio's video and aside from the Receipt you own as your NFT, everyone can see the thing you just bought in a public place? 😨 that can't be right, can it? because if it is, what is the purpose of it? 9 minutes and I was even more confused than when I started watching the video.

@fcac-no-moe to say "I own the original". It's just the digital version of art collecting. Except, NFTs are way easier to copy compared to paintings/sculptures.

A weird combination of bragging rights, speculation, and money laundering.
