    Im thinking about starting a new game. Ive done a little research and I know that theres no NG+ and I know that only store bought items will transfer over to the new save file.

    My questions is around the time limited items such as those from the festivals. Once a festival is over, do those items become available for purchase at merchants (i.e. in a new save)? I dont currently see them, though I do already own all said items so that might be why.

    Do you guys know if theres a way to have access to these items in a new game or is it the case that once the festival is over they are gone for good?

    Thanks!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @salty_brit The only holiday items they made available as 'account bound' like the store items, are the items from the first christmas event last year. Presumably because not many people could play it, or whatever. It was a bit of a mess at the time.

    But everything else is seemingly gone forever, if you don't get it during the event. I got the spring event gear on one save, and then couldn't redeem it on another again. I'd be interested to see if they change this. Maybe the holidays will repeat or something at some point? I've not been playing the game in a while, just because I was waiting for the game to be more stable, and the holiday events are all a bit cringey anyway, for a history nerd like me.

    Hope that helps.

    @orcbeard92 It did, thank you.

    Its a shame that you dont have access to them. I made an effort to play each time limited event so that I didnt miss anything.

    I guess I could keep that save file though. Barring some minor decisions, the game files should be mostly the same at the end.

    @salty_brit Yeah, the completionist in me wanted to play them to get the rewards, but I just didn't enjoy them all that much. They didn't feel as natural as the rest of the game, and felt like I was playing an MMO or something instead.

    Keep your save file anyway, they might add something that allows us to access these items at some point in a future update.
