

If the game won't start after an update then the fix for this on PC is to copy the files from bin_plus into the bin folder above it , I've used that trick twice and it works each time.

@ubi-thrupney @oder @Praxis224 This is weird, as many people including me here have reported it is fixed by changing keyboard language to EN from whatever language you would have. If I have FI the game doesn't launch at all after the last update. Change it to EN and the game works. How hard can it be for you to bring this to your developers attention?

To be clear, we have highlighted this workaround to our teams - indeed, we've got it noted as a workaround in our announcement on this issue, where we've also highlighted sorting it out is currently our highest priority. That said, I understand the frustration caused by this, and we're working to get it resolved as soon as we can. I'd recommend keeping an eye on News & Announcements going forward for updates on this, and setting the forum section to 'watched' at the top, so as to receive notifications when we make announcements.

For me the game first working just fine, after the update it's just crashing. I'm really thinking of fetting a refund?
Have the problem since latest update this week.
Game crashes at the loading screen after clicking "Continue Game" ("Spiel fortsetzen" in German) without error message.
Before there were no problems since nearly 48h of gaming...

We've just over the past couple of days put out an update that has fixed a couple of crashing issues - can you let me know if the issue seems improved at all?
If not, please make sure to run through our troubleshooting - in particular, make sure you've verified the game files and updated your GPU drivers and Windows install.
If it still happens, I'd like to collect some system files from you, to help diagnose the issue. Please see this support article, which describes how to create a DxDiag file and an MsInfo file. Once you've done that, let me know, and I'll create a support ticket for you that you can use to send it across to me.

@Oderisson same here. I have tried everything. Although, I was able to play the game once. Then impossible to open.... FFS.

Sorry to hear you're also experiencing problems with launching the game. Just to confirm - have you tried all the steps listed by Ubi-Thrupney above, as well as changing your keyboard language to United States - International? Another possible workaround is to go to the folder where the game is installed and copy the contents of the 'bin_plus' folder to 'bin' folder.
