Likelihood of map ban feature being removed from Ranked?

Maybe this has been discussed before but personally I think map bans have been added to ranked in has detracted from the ranked experience.
I understand the concept and that it offers players more choice in what map to play, however in reality it hasn’t worked so wondered the likelihood of the feature being removed.
Certain maps in the pool are rarely played and others you end up playing a lot. I would prefer to randomly play any map in the pool. People naturally ban maps they aren’t familiar with. If all maps were played more often people would start playing strategies on the currently rarely played maps improving the ranked experience overall.
Also not sure why Outback was removed from map pool for so long too, what is that about? -
@jhricha This would be a fantastic idea. I know in Pro League they let the Teams pick a Map to Ban and Choose a Map to Play, but shouldn't the Pro's be setting an example for the Community and show them to rise above challenges within Maps they don't like playing for Ranked at least. With a change like this we could learn and grow and Ubisoft deserves credit on how well they have been doing on Map tweaking. I believe every Rework has been a success for Ranked Maps when you look at the Map layouts of Ranked 3 Years ago. The Community has suffered a fair ammount by making Siege a little too Pro League associated so we should take away Map Banning and keep Operator Banning because we will benefit.

That's like saying, why not remove operator bans?
I'm sure everyone loves getting tracked because they walked 5 meters outside the defense area.
Oh here I go roaming, oh no, they picked one operator, now roaming is impossible because rainbow footsteps will allow Jack to hold F for 1.5seconds and than ping my exact location unless I pick Caveira. -
@new_hud_so_bad Hi my friend, you are confused, I said take away Map Banning not Operator Banning. Ubisoft should keep Operator Bans in Ranked but take away the ability to Map Ban In Ranked because everyone Bans the same Maps.
