Ok FC6 is fun, but there quite a few things, that are ever so annoying and I do not see why this is not in the full release. Especially when it was part of previous titles.

    1.) Day/Night cycle:
Why is there not option to sleep or otherwise forward time? Playing this game during night cycle is just a massive pain in the behind. You can't see much of anything and there no option of tool that could make it bearable. Even a flashlight would be a blessing. You can't see much, but enemies have no issues hitscan hitting you trough foliage and darkness. And yes you can tag them with you phone, but that is not really an option during a firefight. Either we need some way to see in dark, like flares, NV goggles or just give us a bed in camps so we can sleep and do stuff during the day.

    2.) Helicopters:

Seriously? Helicopters are just straight up horrible. They are unresponsive and because the heli cannot tilt, you cannot aim for the life of you. Which of course does not concern AI helicopters. And I really don't understand why it is like this, because in FC5 it was absolutely fine. in FC6 it is like flying a brick and brining one into a fight is just not possible at all, it will just get you shot down.

3.) HUD dissapearing and 3rd person in camps:

This is just annoying. When you switch between areas or finish a missing and your HUD and minimap is gone. Just why? Especially when traversing from one area to another I really don't need my minimap and GPS disappear while I drive.
3rd person in camp? Why is this a thing? It is not really a big issue but it is annoying. Especially since suddenly you cannot jump or slide to move faster about the area. Especially in El Este camp where it would make much faster getting from one point to another. It does not bring anything good and if I want to see how my character look, I can just do that in menu.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    1) not good at remembering the names of things, but at night use the hat that highlights enemy/allies as well as animals, it lights them up like glow sticks...

    2) its extremely weak, but what it lacks in defense, it makes up for in agility....
You can fly circles around helicopters with the homemade helicopter making them easy prey....
use shift to fire its onboard guns while using your side arm as well...
And when I say fly circles, I mean it! on PC use A or D, from there I'm sure you'll figure the rest out...
works well against boats too, without the need to worry about hitting the water (water only though)
Sad part about all that is, I really didn't mess with the thing at all until after the end game...
Wish I knew sooner... It's a blast! (gonna have to do another playthrough, lol)

    3) 100% agree, why Ubisoft?

1.) You mean one hat, that don't have after about 20 hours of gameplay especially when loot is randomized in the game? That does not help much does it?

2.) That is work around for Ubisofts bad framework on how regular helis work. Did you play FC5? Helis were absolutely ok there. They where fragile too, but you could actually aim the onboard gun with ease.

This loot is not randomized, and you can get everything below within the first hour or so
You get the hat as well as the rest of the gear (jacket/pants/shoes/wrist), a supremo, a rifle, and the amigo oluso
from the triada blessings yaran story.
story becomes available on the starting island, but rest of the map needs to be opened to complete it..
Oluso is on the starting island, where you place the relics once you have them (fair warning, oluso will try to kill you)

The homemade copter isn't a regular chopper and likely would never fly in the real world...
I've played every version of far cry and just to be blunt about it, any type vehicle in any version of the game rather sucks...
With the exception of boats (hard for them not to be ok)
I personally just walk, unless required to drive/fly by the game.

One thing I have with helicopters in this game is that it's hard to find the one that shoots rockets.

@redjoekido It is worth mentioning that item 1 isn't an issue for everyone. If you play with HDR capable system, you will find that night operations are fine. Also worth mentioning that if you select the HDR mode that isn't best for your hardware, the result is that it can make the game a lot darker.

@tcarlisle2012 Uhm, that has nothing to do with my post. It's about finding a helicopter with rockets.
