Simply add the feature to toggle from first to third person in far cry 6 since we're going third person in the guerrilla camps

@dead-lee_g I'd like it too but it won't happen because it's far from 'simple'. (and there's a strong case that it shouldn't because of FC's first-person history).

The camp 3rd person is very limited, you can't even climb over obstacles. A host of 3rd person animations would be required for gameplay that I'm sure are well beyond a reasonable development expectation.

I don't think you have a meaningful understanding of what you're asking for from a development perspective, OP.

I must say that 3rd person in the guerrilla camps is one very bad decision. Immersion breaking and very hard to navigate through the camps and I want the option to stay in 1st person all the time.

All 3rd person animations should be right there already - it is what you are seeing in coop.
So switch to 1st when aiming and back to 3rd when not, like in other games. It would make the game so much better.

Shifting constantly from 3d person to 1st person......we may even get sick.
An unpleasant feeling.
Even physically.

Moreover, all cinematic qualities of protagonist's shooting breaks down.
Cinematography of action is dying out, in this case.





If we're playing in the 3d person......we have to shoot in the 3d person.
In this case we will have a good 3d person game, 3d person shooter.
Crossing 1st person and 3d person we'll get a hybrid, neither this nor that.

The 3rd person elements they added to this game don't improve the experience in the slightest imo. I have zero support for any and all suggestions of increasing the 3rd person elements and hope they back track on them a bit in the next game. Cutscenes are the one element where I am sort of indifferent, but even then, the fact that the cutscenes utilized default gear and weapons detracted from them (I never used the PPK, so why was Dani always pulling it out in cutscenes?) I boo all talk of wanting more 3rd person in the FC franchise, BOOOOO!

That said, RDR2 has both perspectives and it's a better game than FC6 could ever hope to be. I didn't read that post, I don't know the context of why a RDR2 screen is being used, but it's the better game here, by a lot.

Let's equalize the budget of Far Cry 6 and RDR3.
Let's give RDR3 the same amount of development money that Far Cry 6 had.

And don't be surprised later by such a terrible downgrade of RDR3 in comparison with RDR2.

personally,i really like the addition of third person in the game.
lets me really feel the characters.if you could actually play
the game third person would be top notch in my book.

Far Cry has vehicles, cars, chases.....

In the 3d person it would look more advantageous.

I'm ok with that, as long as I can still have the first person view, because I like it, and I wished to have first person view in camps also
So, Ubisoft, adding the choice for everybody would be nice

@sofajockey this game already has everything needee for 3rd person the only thing that actually needs work is the shooting part the aim part as you'll want to know where your aiming

Just like modern Warfare reboot/warzone everything is here for such a mechanic heck That game also had the cross hair too
Everything should be set besides the aiming part if Ubi wants to experiment and add the ability to toggle from first to 3rd person from anywhere in Yara might not be easy but most of the work is already here
