I have the same issue!!! Damn it, really don't want to start the game all over again, this is crap.

Did anyone test this update, it would appear not. What level of incompetence are we talking here. A more than disappointing first update and resulting game failure caused. No option to not update as we cannot play our owned games offline, another massive disappointment. Your update fail has turned an average game tragic. Thanks .

Hello, since the update made this morning, the game does not launch any more, black screen. Verification of the files of the game done, everything is fine .... Where does the problem come from?

it doesnt help to shift/f2 x it out, because it pops right back few seconds later. There is no toggle switch to disable the warning. So play with blocked screen, play whack a mole with it instead of the game, disable overlay/internet connection and part of game, or dont play at all. I will just go back to cyberpunk, bugs are fixed on that game. Far cry launch is worse than cyberpunks.

Whoever coded a persistent message to purposely block the screen was basically flipping off all nvidia users. There is a toggle switch in settings to remove every other hud/warning/feature, but not that one, wonder why that is?

Turn off game overlay, something went wrong with the game launcher since the latest update.

Black screen and nothing more since the update this morning. Also did the latest Nvidia graphics driver update.

It seems that lots of people have same problem that after I turn off the game this afternoon, and have no idea what have happened. Now I can not lauch the game, the screen turned into black as I run the exe and then swift back to the desktop automatically and the game closed by itself......what's going on????

@ced_arbo mate, did you solve it??? I still can't lauch the game now...

My game crash once I hit Continue on my story mode, any answers?

I have verified my files after the update and it tells me it found numerous corrupted files and it's now re-downloading these files.

@ced_arbo Open the program Ubisoft Connect, Go to Far Cry 6 game, go to properties and then klick on "Verify files".

There will be found a lot of corrupted files and then klick on repair.
All files will be downloaded newly and after that the game will start normally.

I tried it myself!
