@jimuari Same here... Just installed the update and it won't load the game. Just get a black screen whenever I try to launch. Reboots do nothing.

I have had no desire to log into Far Cry 6 for about a week, I had no idea that they even produced an update. I am so disappointed that Far Cry 6 does not play like a Far Cry game that I have been waiting for a sale on Steam to find another game.

Think I'd like to get my money back. Buggiest game I've played in a very long time. Certainly the buggiest Xbox game.

Black screen here after launching game post update. RTX 3080 if that matters at all. Has to probably do something with the file download. Game starts and goes into a black screen. for me...

Same here. When I start up the game and click "Continue" the game just closes. Then a few moments after a small window appears for a brief second and disappears. That's it. Can't play. Wonderful!

@vivius Same with me. And this is after I played the game for two days. It all of a sudden won't start. Black screen.

I am beyond tired of Ubisoft. This game is hands down the biggest dumpster fire of 2021. Did this new patch even do anything, besides take up space. I never really bought from em, in the past, and the future is looking the same way. 120 down the pooper...

Thanks ivet44. Your tip also fixed my game crashing at startup. Only 20GB of corrupted files in my case... but still, a bad update patch it would seem.

@hmmm_okay585 That would be a good thing to know in a thread like this, which platform the bug fix was for.

can we retro back to the old version before the update? I'd rather play offline than not at all

Same problem as everyone else....black screen before main menu

UPDATE - verifying files found some corrupted....so now it is installing a 19GB update...so, progress?
