Work Around Found!

I was messing around for a while today and I found a work around. This only worked for me if you load in from the main menu, reloading save or abandoning mission did nothing. After loading in from the main menu, while you still have a HUD (everything else is black), run north immediately before the cutscene has a chance to start. Pull out your cellphone (Camera), this will restore your vision. Then I was able to fly/drive around, then I went and captured a few bases. After the game saved while I was still at a freshly captured base, I hit reload autosave and it loaded me back in at the base I just captured but immediately went back to the cutscene from surgical extraction and it gave me mission complete after cutscene. I hope this works for some of you.

so I have fixed it I got a ps5 today and your fix worked on the ps5, but it didn’t work on the ps4 thank you for sharing this. All the best to you

The theatrical visual plays, then loads a black screen. Sound works, map and menu's. Cannot see anything but can hear. Done all basic troubleshooting, hard resets of console and internet modem.

I'm having the same problem and I can't do anything. Just black screen. The sound is working and I can bring up map but cannot fast travel. Also tried reloading and turning off/on. Did you find a fix?

Not yet but now after trying almost everything possible as a single player without success. Thinking that maybe it's a co-op mission. So, have paid for ps+ subscription for a month, and trying to figure out how to connect with a second FC6 player in co-op mode. There's a successful fix in co-op mode that having a second person join will somehow trigger the game to progress pass the loop? Have enabled anyone to join in co-op because we do not know anyone with the game or ps+.

Hopefully it's because it's a co-op mission and you cannot progress the story without it? I remember that with Assassin's Creed Black Flag some percentage completion of the game is in co-op mode?

I am waiting for the game to find me someone that I can add as a friend and therefore play co-op to try it out.

After the cut scene at the end of the mission surgical extraction the screen goes black and stays that way cant move cant see but i cam hear the environment. Ive tried everything. Please help

Okay so I was doing the mission "Surgical Extraction" and after I stopped Sergio and started the cutscene with Matias and Paolo. I would leave the cutscene only to be stuck in an infinite black screen. I've tried reloading the game, closing it, and even abandoning the mission. But no matter what I did the problem hasn't changed.

EDIT: It worked!!!! I was trying to use the cellphone instead of the cellphone camera!

My Far Cry 6 progress is now at 59.6%. Now I'm on the mission named Surgical Extraction and after the cinematic, it freezes. I was trying to search for this issue but I couldn't find any solution. I've tried maybe everything, my PS4 and Far Cry 6 has the latest update, I've restarted the game and my console too, tried to restart from last checkpoint and withdraw from operation, I've uninstalled the game, and updated that again. I made a copy save, deleted the actual save file, paste that back, not working too. Maybe has anyone met with this similar problem? Thank you so much in advance, I hope that we can find the solution for everyone in this case!

I am on PS4 and the fix described here does not work! please fix this as soon as possible. You said you would fix it in the next update but you havnt.

Its been over a month and a at least 2 updates you have dione and you have still not solved the problem? this is such a rip of please fix this bug i cannot continue my game!

I’m experiencing a game breaking bug with the mission too that doesn’t allow me to progress the story line in valle de oro. I surgical extraction I’ve been tracking the mission and have it selected and it’s telling to me to go “pick up some antibiotics at the checkpoints”, but when I got to every checkpoint the antibiotics would spawn in they weren’t there. Also when I’m tracking this mission and this mission only I can’t pull up the mission objective either. I’ve been experiencing this for almost a month and I’m not gonna make a new save 91% into the game. Please help
