I don’t know if this is really a bug or just some bad programming, but for the second day in a row, I’ve seen the menu advertise a new Imperial set in the store, but it is not actually present when I go there. I am playing the game on my XBox Series X and have no technical or connectivity issues.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hey @thenorfolkian

Thanks for reporting this and the video. I'll forward it on to the game team to report this.

@ubi-froggard I don’t know why I didn’t notice it before, but this supposed Imperial set that is still missing as of today looks exactly like the Carolingian set that was released as an Amazon promo for the game, which I currently have. I know that @bielik01 wanted to acquire this set and was not able to. Would you happen to know what the special stat buffs are for this Imperial set, assuming that they’re different from the Carolingian set?

@thenorfolkian apparently it is the Carolingian set which was available with Prime Gaming.

At first I didn't know what was going on here, but I think @GanguHrolfr has an issue with the set.

@bielik01 Weird. I wonder if maybe that’s why I am not seeing it in the store... because I already have it under a different name. Thanks for checking on your end!

@thenorfolkian so how it's named in your case? Do you use quick resume on your console as I do? I had to quit the game completely in order to see this in the Animus store.

    Hey all,

I did get an update back from the dev team and they did see the same issue where it doesn't open anything when selecting it and they did confirm it is the same as the Carolingian set. No news on if the name will be updated to better reflect this but I have asked. Apologies for any confusion caused from it.

@bielik01 It’s still called the Carolingian set... I even put it on today just to double-check the appearance. I’ve never really been able to effectively use Quick Resume with Valhalla because it screws up the network connection... so I always quit when I’m done playing and load up the game from scratch every time in order to access Reda’s stuff, map photos, etc.

@ubi-froggard Thanks for reporting back so soon about this. Now that I know it’s identical to the Carolingian set, I’m not too worried about it.

@Ubi-Froggard you can see it is THE Carolingian pack. The tile name on the main screen is misleading.

@bielik01 Since I can’t view the Imperial set on my end, can you see what the names of the spear, shield, raven, and mount are?

For the Carolingian set, the spear is the Carolingian Pike, the shield is the Carolingian Shield, the raven is the Pigeon (which is being featured in the Discovery Tour), and the mount is Caballarii.

@thenorfolkian it's all in the video above 🙂 I went that extra mile.
Yup, the set consists of all those things you mentioned.

I really wanted it just for the pigeon only. Now to get the Gallus rooster from the Charlemagne set and I'll be content 😄

@bielik01 Whoops... sorry, man... I didn’t watch past the first ten seconds last time, LOL... just seeing that you could access it in the first place was a big deal. It’s kind of odd that they didn’t bother changing the names of the spear and shield.

@thenorfolkian I think they just went through their inventory and saw a pack that could sell well, even though a year ago was exclusive with Prime Gaming, so they made it available in the Animus store.

@bielik01 If that’s true, then it proves that the ‘exclusivity’ of the pack being offered via Amazon Prime Gaming was always temporary, kind of like how Netflix pays to feature certain content which eventually expires and is pulled down from its servers.

@bielik01 thanks for mentioning my post. Still have this issue: my carologian set has gone though I had it with my Amazon Prime account, whent it was to be obtained.
It makes sense that this set wouldn't appear in the store then. It should be displayed in the "owned" part.
