@snackzorz I thought it might, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Which 'trainer' did you use? The one I posted the link to?
PC PLAYERS!! There is a work-around! A lot of the game trainers available have a 'travel to waypoint' feature. Snackzorz used it and it worked for him.
Again, here is a link to one of the more reputable ones I've read about:
https://www.cheathappens.com/75656-PC-Far-Cry-6-trainer: (https://cheathappens.com/75656-PC-Far-Cry-6-trainer)
I'll give it a shot and report back!
@merk565 Yep I used the link you posted. Unfortunately the trainer isn't free, you have to get some level of membership to download it. But yeah once you get it working turn on the unlimited health because the travel to waypoint feature can sometimes accidentally drop you somewhere not safe depending on where precisely you set the waypoint (I got stuck inside a wall briefly because that happened to be where my waypoint lined up).
@snackzorz Thanks for the response.
I looked around a bit and found another trainer, and this one appears to be free: https://flingtrainer.com/trainer/far-cry-6-trainer/: (https://flingtrainer.com/trainer/far-cry-6-trainer)
It hasn't been updated since the last FC6 update so some of the features may not work. Most of the posts from people that have used the trainer seem to have pretty good luck with it. I downloaded it but haven't had a chance to install it/try it out.
God damn how has this not been addressed already? If we leave a mission location and it says mission failed, give us a prompt to restart the mission or abandon. I don't want to play the god damn mission I accidentally started and walked away from and now the game is broken. How can this still be unpatched after so long? Just crazy.
Are we getting anything to resolve this?? I’ve noticed on the news and announcement page they resolved an issue with the Vaas DLC…what about us poor sods who are stuck in this loop and can’t even play the normal game? Im really close to giving up on this game now…..
Looks like I get to add my name to this too. All I did was change my mind, as you do in an open world game, and not immediately go and plant the explosives (had other stuff to do first). Next thing I know I'm too far away from the mission with about 10 seconds to get back...impossible. Now it's a loop.
As with everyone else, can't fast travel and can't abandon the mission. It can't be that hard to change one of those settings. Let us fast travel! Or let us abandon the mission! Either way and we'll be able to play the game again.
Right now, the disc I have may as well be a frisbee.
The fact that this has been going for about 6 weeks now is just embarrassing for Ubisoft. How amazingly poor.
I will add my name to this list too

Like others, I tried a number of things to get out of this loop but no luck.
I have filed a formal complaint to the BBB requesting a refund. I encourage all of you to do the same. Below is a screenshot of the complaint, the case number, and what I wrote to the BBB in the complaint. You can just cut and paste what I wrote if you want to. If you do that the whole process will only take a few minutes.

Ubisoft is a video game publisher that has a track record of releasing products that are unfinished or laden with bugs/glitches. They, and many other publishers, often release their products in the aforementioned state only to use the online connectivity of current gaming platforms (xbox, playstation, pc, etc) to issue updates to fix or address the issues the product/game shipped with initially. One of Ubisoft's current releases, "Far Cry 6" was released in the same manor with multiple small issues, in addition to a few others that make the game/software completely unusable. Ubisoft has been aware of one particular game breaking issue, known as the "Paradise lost" glitch or loop, for close to 6 weeks and done nothing about it. They have released 3 separate updates for the software, none of which have addressed this issue. All attempts at getting a refund have been denied by Ubisoft. There are multiple consumers that have purchased this product, and are affected by this issue, that makes the software they paid full price for unusable. Never mind the fact that in the time Ubisoft has been made aware of the aforementioned issue, they have released other updates for the game called downloadable content or 'DLC', that they can further monetize. All while failing to address a catastrophic glitch in the base software. Myself and multiple other consumers have worked with Ubisoft's 'support team', submitted videos of the glitch per their request, asked for help, a solution or a refund. None of which have been accommodated. Below is a link to the Ubisoft forums, where you can see 6 pages of posts and responses from users across all platforms (pc, Xbox, Playstation) that are affected by this issue. You can see that the first time this glitch was brought to Ubisoft's attention was 10/11 & Ubisoft staff responded 10/18

Sign me up for a mission I didn't want to play in
the first place and now I can't play any missions. Ubisoft you suck big donkey balls for letting this issue go on for 6 plus weeks. It's been 2 day's for me and I'm annoyed, feel sorry for the chaps that been waiting longer than that to play this game without starting a new playthrough. Most likely that would wash away 30+ hours of gameplay.
Not cool Ubisoft, not cool at all.
It's nice that you guys were able to accidentally let the Danny Trio mission to be played only to have enough time to fix it in under 48 hours yet here we are waiting, waiting waiting for this. The shame.
@koffiegast i have just been told its being fixed on next update - no date given or explanation and told "Alternatively, you can start a new game on which the issue isn't present as to not lose your hours of gameplay until the update." I MEAN [censored]!!!!
Guys sorry, but is there any news regarding the solution to this damn problem? I'm constantly writing to Ubisoft support, but they always reply with very generic arguments, they don't even know the resolution date. I am very angry because to restart the game after 50 hours, it is not really the slightest desire, it is not even fair that they do not let us know anything. 6 weeks in absolute silence. every now and then I turn on the play with the hope of seeing the update, but nothing. Usual loop, usual blasphemies , usual frustration… You instead? what new?
(always sorry my bad english, i am using google translate)
Hello. Any ideas on when this bug will be fixed? I've just ran into it. Nearly December, this should be fixed by now.
All a bit vague ...
I've pinged IGN in one of my Tweet but they didn't bother either.
