Even if its just as an escape for the death loop.
Really no need not to have a manual saves.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I agree, i would like a save scene option, where it gives a sceencap of what you were doing when you saved and then lists it in the pause menu, that way we could repeat the same scenes multiple times or retry a challenge again and again.
I've been askin' em to do this since they took them away in Far Cry 4, a baffling decision then that makes even less sense now. I mean WTactualF?
@baker_76 Amen to that! I hate when games don't have manual saves, which is most all new games now, as it's the new trend. Give us the options to decide how "WE" want to enjoy playing a game.
Agreed on the OP.
Auto-saving is fine, but give us the option to at least have a manual save, even if only at safe-houses.
Red Dead Redemption 2 gives players like 20 save slots to choose from in addition to the auto-saves the game employs. Ubisoft decided they'd rather players sacrifice all progress from one playthrough if they want to play the game a 2nd time.
I agree this is probably the biggest disappointment in the game is the inability to save your progress in the game when you need to .
The one feature that should be a given to the player, spending hours into a game playing, should have the option to save progress so we can safely exit the game and resume at a later date.
At the very least, they should have added an auto-save on Quit function, which would taken care of above.
Manual saves / loads, need to be added in addition to a Reload Mission option.
Saving - is one of the most important part of the gaming process.
It's Alpha and Omega of any exciting game.
You should run and tremble for not to lose everything.
Ability to save the game when you need it is - Evil.
It kills all excitement.
