Sniper Rifles just plain broke on xbox

All you have to do is use a non-basic controller that has a trigger adjustment and you'll know what I mean. This includes even microsoft controllers which have a trigger control. The only way sniper rifles somewhat work is with the most basic controllers which have the same standard pull distance. Anything else and they are not usable... and don't get me started on the lack of skills. Novelty guns are not fun... too many concepts from New Dawn that didn't work were brought into this game. No way this is turning out to match the ratings of all the fanboi game rankings site that get the game for free.

@ashaggyspud I just tried the same thing using a PowerA controller on my gaming PC. Same behavior... unusable sniper rifles due to some assumption of a pull distance of the trigger. How can this get broke from Far Cry 5 where it worked just fine? It's pretty much the same game...

Mouse and keyboard works great for this game. Which is saying a lot because I've been mouse and keyboard gaming for decades and I can't say that it's always been a pleasant experience, especially since developers started catering to the console cretins.
Controllers are so elementary.
There's only one game that I've played in the past 30 years that I'm forced to use a controller for, and every time I have to pick it up it feels like my brain has just teleported back to grade five with Mrs. Phillips.
Controllers should be melted down and the plastic turned into something useful. Like garbage bags for the poor.
