i love a deep involving story, which motivates by making the world a better one. And i love to develop the player avatar. Not just in in-game skills but also in - how can i say this - personal growth. AC Origins was wonderful as the character developed also through the story line. Odyssey was worse, you couldnt really make the world a better place by swapping a region from Athen to Sparta or vice versa. And the journey was more a personal than an altruistic one. But ACV has about nothing in it for me. Eivor is just a rookie working on personal gains for her village.
I know you can do better. Please do so next AC game.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@rorobfo Pretty much the last three AC games, Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla have all been about PERSONAL agendas. Bayek out for revenge, Kassandra trying to save her brother, and Eivor trying to make a safe place for her settlement in a foreign land. Sure there is some 'greater good' in the story, but it's usually just a byproduct of the personal agenda. This is the problem with a game based on actual history... you cannot CHANGE the overall history. With AC, we are experiencing 'memories' in the animus, we technically aren't able to 'change' anything, but simply go along for the ride. So we cannot change the course of Egyption history, or Greek history, nor the history of England- we can only 'experience it' through the characters that lived it.
