Hello Motornation! With how The Crew 2 has released its updates it became an obvious trend that the content that gets added and, some times, the idea of the update seems to not be fully explored and in all cases, later it is never added upon. We do get 1 or 2 things added every few updates to older content, like the demo derby vehicles were expanded a tiny bit, but there are no new Hovercraft races for example.
I was wondering what you all think of this method of keeping the game updated, do you like that the developers push updates so fast and every time try to find a new aspect to add, but in the process sacrifice the quality, or would you rather see old content be worked on to fully implement the idea they first brought in? As in make the old new instead of adding a new thing that we play for the season and move on to the next right after, never to touch it again?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I certainly want to see old content be prioritized for future updates, for many reasons. I'll list two of them.
improving old content better than new content. because new contents be like old contents. old contents have issues.
I voted for old stuff. But first post implies that we get a lot of new content. We dont. We've got like 6-7 actually new vehicles in this update (which spans 5 months). The rest is reskins. One new event per week is nice but nothing to write home about. They are all time trials, and this mode is inherently broken thanks to miraculous gameplay mechanics (courtesy of IVT) called "ghosted slipstream". Chases and stunts were even worse, shallow and broken at the same time.
So yea. I'll trade this kind of new content for actual improvements any day of the week.

I would be really interested in getting numbers on how often the "new" content is played after we are not forced to do so (by motorpass tasks or summit). My assumption is: Nearly never because even if one likes the specific idea, the mechanics are so broken and exploitable that it spoils all the fun. So: Please do things right before you add additional stuff!
