@danielowyyyy I feel like I'm the only one who has this problem on AMD

@aex_khves what is your AMD card ? In some articles I read need 16Vram to be quiet in hd texture pack

@danielowyyyy The problem is HDtexture pack. If I turn it off, it's okay. But it's ridiculous that with 3080 I can't use the Texture pack hd, it's even on consoles.

@devilkazuya83 The problem is with the engine not loading textures. Actually, it loads them, but doesn't apply. That's why you have your Vram loaded, but textures are horrible.
This issue is really [censored] up.

@devilkazuya83 I have only 4 vram and textures are bad without HD pack

@kalitheman The ingame indicator shows 4.45GB out of 8GB on 3070... All settings ultra, only RT reflections On. This is on 2560x1080 (ultrawide 21:9)

@kalitheman I've noticed that setting render scaling to 0.8 works better for me than FSR and the setting actually saves itself

@bladerunner4077 I uninstalled that crap early on. IMHO High/Ultra without HD pack looks good enough to me. Would love to use HD pack but clear that's not possibe with 8GB

@darrel_rf There seem to be a bug with the HD textures to. If you enter a camp, the HD textures get disabled. You can check my post on it. I have screenshot examples.

@katzenkrimis71 at least I have textures in Cyberpunk

    @darrel_rf cool, blind zealot here.

And 600+ posts in one topic dedicated to the game not loading textures at all - simply a misunderstanding, right?

At this moment i just want a refund. First time i see such a horrible implementation of rendering.

I wonder when are they going to release the patch?
    Half a month has passed

I stake on the fact that they create new costumes for donation,
and do not deal with solving problems

@darrel_rf They actually do sometimes TBH. The problem is definitely within the new DirectX 12 renderer FC6 uses. The previous games using the old DirectX 11 renderer never reduced texture quality under any circumstances.

@uhohipooped I don't think this has anything to do with the AMD sponsorship. FC5 was also AMD sponsored. I believe it's definitely a case of the new DirectX 12 renderer being buggy.

@yamaci1771 No, I understand and I know very well how R-Bar works. The game's low resolution texture issue has nothing to do with R-Bar. If it were, it should have fixed when I disable the R-Bar. In addition, other R-Bar supported games do not have such a problem. You don't understand this either. If the previous game Far Cry New Dawn looks better than Far Cry 6 at 4K Ultra settings and with HD textures enabled,(8 GB RTX 3070 has zero texture issues) then the problem is Far Cry 6 itself. You don't need to look elsewhere.

@akira1364 AMD did not have 16GB cards when Far Cry 5 was being released that’s why.

I have an i7 4790k at 5Ghz, 20GB DDR3, RTX 2070, Windows 10 and have the same problems everyone else does in this thread at 1440p. That's with or without HD texture pack, Ray tracing on or off and at low to very high settings. It occurs with any graphical settings. Granted, when running at low settings, the blurry textures are less prevelant but usually always pop up after a fast travel or death. It's infuriating! Please fix this soon or at least give us an update. I've been following this thread since launch and it's obnoxious how little communication from Ubisoft there's been. Yes, we know the developers are aware of this issue but is there any other update? ETA on a fix?

I'm shelving the game until this is fixed. The blurry textures are ruining the experience.

@kevinsyslo2 Unfortunately setting the shader cache to 128mb didnt work with the HD Pack enabled on a 3080 Ti. Still see blurry textures when VRAM allocation crosses 10.5GB. No blurry textures with the pack off but that was the case earlier too as my VRAM is well above the absurd buffer they have set for it.

@marcelduchampo The most incompetent thing Ubisoft did is for 1440p users with NVIDIA hardware. 4k users are all likely to have 2080 Ti, 3080, and 3090 so they could turn off the pack and still have more than enough VRAM to brute force that nonsensical 2GB buffer they have set as the stock textures require 8GB of allocation which is available on the 2080 Ti (9GB after buffer) and 3080 Ti (10GB after buffer).

Unfortunately, those gaming at 1440p have mid range GPUs with 8GB of VRAM which represents almost the entirety of NVIDIA userbase. Downscaling to 1440p from 4k using the stock textures only reduced VRAM consumption by 500MB indicating the game needs at least 7.5GB of VRAM. Unfortunately, the 3070, 3060 Ti, 2080,2070 all have only 6GB of VRAM after that 2GB buffer is set so there is virtually no solution here apart from turning down ray tracing (saves around 800MB) and turning on FSR Ultra quality (saved around 1GB) and now you are finally below the 6GB assigned by the game for your GPU (allocation of around 5.7GB). Even still you are barely on the brink here and some spikes in texture streaming will result in blurry textures.

Ubisoft, we are now 10 days into this release and you cannot have your NVIDIA customer base who paid the same amount of cash as the AMD ones, looking at Half Life 1 class textures. Also fix the HD pack as the allocation is not going beyond 11GB yet a FLAGSHIP 3080 Ti which costs 1,700 bucks IS UNABLE TO USE THIS PACK WHILE THE PS5, WHICH COSTS 500 BUCKS CAN. Do you realise how ridiculous this sounds? Do you guys have a bone to pick with NVIDIA or something?

seems the only benefit pc users get is ray tracing
