    I tried all possible settings, but nothing solved this problem. Now I´m playing without HD texture with adaptive resolution 60fps.

    Hi @sattium85 @Ubi-Mercury ,

    I've pre-ordered Far Cry 6 and have been playing it for several hours.

    However, I keep running into these issues with texture quality. Many textures do not seem to load at full resolution. I've tried several things to see if I could solve the problem and tried the following scenarios playing the game:

    * re-installed the game
    * enabled/disabled the HD Texture pack
    * uninstalled HD texture pack entirely
    * tried different resolutions
    * tried different resolution scales
    * enabled/disabled AMD CAS (both the sharpening & resolution sampling)
    * used all different in-game quality presets (low, medium, high and ultra)
    * enabled/disabled raytracing
    * tried all the anti-aliasing settings
    * enabled/disabled HDR support
    * clean installed Nvidia videocard drivers (472.12)
    * verified game files, via Ubisoft Connect

    None of these scenarios work. After reading the forums, I understand I'm not the only one having these issues.

    I've also noticed that often the game grinds down to a halt in responsiveness when I open the "Arsenal" menu, after playing the game for an hour or so at 30 - 60fps. Even in menus, the game 's responsiveness cranks down as if there's a memory leak going on or something. This doesn 't happen all the time, but eventually, no matter what quality setting or resolution I play at, this will occur.

    The game also seems to mix highres with extremely lores textures on the same model. Maybe a texture streaming problem?

    Underneath an example and info from DXDiag

    Hello all and hello ubisushivamp

    I have the same problem with the HD textures.

    When activated, many textures are muddy and totally blurry, especially the character's clothes, vehicle instruments (speedometer, tachometer, etc.) walls, posters, as well as books/letters on the tables and much more. Horses and the amigo "Guapo" are also very blurry and look washed out accordingly.

    After deactivating the HD textures and a game restart most of the mentioned problems are gone, but not all (in some aircrafts I still have washed out instruments then).

    Is the HD texture pack only for 4K? but that makes no sense at all.

    I hope that it will be fixed as soon as possible, because that can not have been the intention of the inventor or?

    Enclosed no video but a few screenshots that should clarify the problem.

    Hallo zusammen,

    ich habe das selbe Probleme mit den HD Texturen.

    Bei Aktivierung sind viele Texturen matschig und total unscharf, insbesondere die Kleidung des Charakters, Fahrzeug-Instrumente (Tacho, Drehzahlmesser etc.) Wände, Poster sowie auch Bücher/Briefe auf den Tischen und vieles mehr. Pferde und der Amigo "Guapo" sind ebenfalls sehr unscharf und sehen dementsprechend verwaschen aus.

    Nach Deaktivierung der HD Texturen und einem Game restart sind die meisten genannten Probleme verschwunden, nicht jedoch alle (in einigen Luftfahrzeugen habe ich dann immer noch Verwaschene Instrumente.

    Ist das HD-Texturpack nur für 4K? aber das macht ja überhaupt keinen Sinn.

    Ich hoffe das es schnellst möglich gefixt wird, weil so kann das ja nicht im sinne des Erfinders gewesen sein oder?

    Anbei kein Video aber ein paar Screenshot, die das Problem verdeutlichen sollen.

    Can you help me or fix your game.

    I have a problem with textures, they are blurry and do not load on some items.

    The next problem is with fps, it constantly falls and freezes, which leads to the game shutting down.

    My specifications are:
    CPU - Ryzen 3 3200g 3.6GHz
    GPU - GTX 1650 4GB
    RAM - 16GB 3200MHz
    OS - Windows 11

    (Everything has been updated to the latest version, it has also been tested with Windows 10 and everything is the same).

    Here's what it looks like

    Low Resolution/Blurry Texture Problem Fix (Nvidia Users)

    1-) Install the Nvidia 471.96 driver because 472.12 "Far Cry 6" Game Ready driver conflict shader caching and can't be set correctly. Textures are loaded at low resolution.The same problem existed in the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn.

    2-)You need rewrite cache/pipeline. Go to Documents>My Games and delete Far Cry 6 folder. Don't need backup because this folder inclueded pipeline/cache folder.

    3-)Enter the game and adjust the graphics settings while in the game menu. Do not change the graphics settings in the game, as this will cause the low les textures again.

    I am playing the game with RTX 3070 in 2K resolution + Ray Tracing and Ultra settings (HD Texture package is not installed) and I solved the low texture problem in this way. Some in-game screenshots, textures are working properly and are not blurred.

    I know lots of people are having this issue, but it never hurts having another complaint out there in the hopes they actually fix it!

    Game looks trash alot of the time, ps2 level textures on alot of things, seems to run fine for about 10 mins when first loaded and then it goes downhill rapidly.

    Ultra settings, no HD textures because I know they're really bugged.

    Rtx 2080ti
    32gb Patriot viper 3600mhz
    5120x1440 res
    5.87gb vram usage shown

    Anyone have any suggestions?
    Tried fresh install, tried multiple graphics settings, tried backing up and deleting the game files to coax the shades to reinstall.

    @alex_murphy-_ Well, the "Game Ready" driver was released before the game came out.. and nvidia probably didn't have enough time to properly add optimizations etc to the driver before release, in this case shader cache.. instead of downgrading driver, what about disabling nvidia shader cache just for FC6?

    Also on 9900k and 2080 Ti.
    This game looks like absolute trash compared to far cry 5.
    Running the game (supposedly) in 4k with everything on Ultra. Downloaded the HD texture pack and loaded with that to start with - everything beyond a few meters looks worse than any game I have seen in the last 10 years.
    I then disabled the texture pack - same awful graphics.

    This is unplayable as is. Even a character 4 meters away at most looks like pixelated trash.
    It is like the player character has incredibly bad short sightedness.
    UBI need to fix this NOW - how can this game be worse graphically than the last 2 far cry games (and I mean significantly worse).
    With it being a far cry game, I had no hesitation whatsoever in preordering the game because I have loved them all. This is trash though - such a shame.

    @punisherd1387 Hey there. Thanks for reaching out and reporting this issue with the HD Texture pack! Thank you as well for providing those specs for your PC. Does the quality of the graphics appear to improve when your uninstall the Texture pack? If so, it could be due to the amount of VRAM available. You do need at least 11 GB of VRAM for the Texture pack to act correctly. Let me know if you have more than enough VRAM, however, and uninstalling / reinstalling the pack doesn't seem to help!

    Ich hab auch Probleme mit den Texturen, mal wieder bei einem Ubisoft Spiel..... nervt so langsam

    Also ich habe die selben Probleme wie alle hir mit dem hd texturen Packen mit meiner 3080 ich weiß man muss unbedingt 11GB Vram dafür haben aber kommt schon Ubisoft das ist doch lächerlich.
    Und widerum habe ich ohne HD texturen Paket das Problem dass nach gewisser Spielzeit wenn dann Far cry es geschafft hat 9.2 gb Vram voll zu machen, auch wieder Texturen nicht laden wollen am besten zu merken dass die Waffen texturen in low res dargestellt werden.
    Ist langsam echt nervig mit Ubisoft, auch in AC Valhalla gibt es extreme Texturen Probleme die einfach nicht laden wollen oder wenn man in nem gewissen Blickwinkel darauf schaut in niedrieger Auflösung dargestellt werden.
    Und glaubt mir ich habe schon genug mit dem Ubisoft support geschrieben und seitdem ich dieses Problem gemeldet habe sind 2 Patches rausgekommen in denen das Problem nicht behoben wurde und ich bin mir sicher bei Far cry wird es nicht anders sein.
    Far cry 6 war eindeutig das letzte Ubisoft Spiel das ich gekauft habe, sowas ist doch einfach nur ein Armutszeugnis für son grpßen Puplisher
