Good evening!
Haven't anyone noticed changes in incoming damage? I mean, it's way too high.
412 power level. 300hp 283 armor. 131 melee resistance. 224.8 weak attacks resistance. Basic grunt with basic white attack completely deletes my health.
But. If I put the scaling on BY default, so it's -50 at my location, it deals like 35-45% of my health. If i put any other non upgraded and not runed armor, it's still a oneshot.
BEFORE the patch Hard scaling (+30) was the way like currently By default is. White attacks were 25-30% damage, while red was 50-60%. Right now, you will be oneshotted by any wolf with any amount of health in any armor on anything higher, than By default scaling.
Difficulty works fine. The difference between Dreng and Berserk is how it is (130% and 60% respectively).
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@as1r0nimo I haven't messed with scaling, but I do play on the hardest level. I noticed a big difference in incoming damage, as well. I actually like it--the difference was barely noticeable before.
Yeah I was just to make a thread about it. Noticed that my level 466 and over 100 mastery points save was taking huge hunks from hits now while I barely noticed hits before. They really need to balance this game right and just leave it.
Suprised more people aren't talking about this.
Scaling is totally broken now. Playing on Drengr, constant scaling. 2 hits from anything now is a death, and red attacks are a one shot. Fully upgraded armour and skill node unlocks mean virtually nothing now.
WHERE are the forum mods and why aren't we being notified that this is being looked into?!? The patch notes do mention "Scaling options stopped scaling under certain circumstances" and I wonder if this is the problem?!? They weren't scaling properly before OR this update broke the scaling even more?
Does anyone know which scaling this affects? Is it all levels, or just the higher difficulty settings? I always play on EASY with scaling OFF since I prefer to be OP, and having just started over with a new game, I haven't noticed any significant difference so far... but I'm only at power 55 so far.
From my expirience, there is a huge gap on ~400 power level, where enemies are at level way higher, even though their stats are the same. Like 460, while you are 400.
So you constantly have maxed out enemies (up to your mastery) and recieve a ton of damage.
I've leveld up to 4 points already (Mastery) and somewhere at 450 power level it returns to normal. Drengr, constant scaling to MY level. Enemies hit hard, but not lethal. And armor/damage resistance is visible.
My advice - watch for gaps. If you see a sudden spike in incoming damage, try to turn scaling to a minimum and play on lower difficulties. It should return in normal state after 50/60 levels. I hope, it will help someone.
Well im at power level 350ish and regular trash enemies almost one hit me despite maxed armour and good resistances.
I'm going to have to lower my scaling down from constant to default then for the time being.
I like a challenge hence why I went Drengr, but this is stupid.
It's a bit like ghost of tsushima's lethal difficulty at the moment which I liked except this is without the increase damage output for Eivor.
Nah it’s much better now. Go to a lower level if you want less incoming damage.
The trouble is if you want both nightmare and nightmarish scaling you cant… or at least not if you also want to do Reda quests because the bug where Reda only has one quest with anything other than default scaling. Which was not addressed in 1.3.2 (nor were the boom quests failing to reset bug or sound issues in the settlement bugs).
