If you have the game, make a GDPR request and ask for the data related to battleye. They won't comply. You will be able to report them.
Linux support would be really welcome for us Steam Deck/Linux users! But ofc ubi hasn't done it since 2 years.
hey, is it possible to get an answer on why ubisoft can't enable the BattleEye support for linux?
I did test the game on the steam deck and it works really good at least the single player portion of the game, and every time I try playing multiplayer I just kicked out of the game.
so the game works fine on linux and all they have to do is send an email to BattleEye to make the game playable but I guess I am asking to much even tho I bought the game. I really desserve a refund if this game will never work on linux or the steam deck
The game doesn't open anymore in Linux. Can't believe this OS discrimination....
How is it that small indie game developers have no problem with having a Linux build, yet a big company like Ubisoft with 80 million dollars annual income can't manage to do just that? All they need to do is flip one switch in BattleEye to have it working in proton.
i have a steamdeck and just want to play rainbow six, like a lot of other poeple in this discussion. if you just look at Something like Apex which just works on the deck which made it a bit more popular because more played it just beacuse it just runs.
Please make it work on linux, it's unfair that we can't enjoy this game because you don't feel like it.
come on ubisoft, 2023 is the year to activate support and do something for the community
Ubisoft, please. This is ridiculous.
Enable Linux support for R6 Siege. A lot of people can't switch from Windows to Linux entirely, and that is only because of your game.
Is it really that hard to just enable BattlEye Linux support for R6 Siege, or you just don't feel like it to make something good for the Linux Community?
@SXGES @Ubi-Milky they enabled support for division 2. Where is it for your biggest game ? Please. Pass this info on the devs need to come out from under
there are games that enables battleye support for proton. go for it, there are some people who'd kill to play this game on Linux
AAAAAAAH ITS BEEN 2 YEARS, UBISOFT DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFES
