I would love to play siege again having moved over completely to linux for development and gaming
@garlic_kasparov Hey! Thank you for reaching out here on the forums about Proton support for Rainbow Six: Siege.
We appreciate that you wish for this to be implemented, however as other support agents have advised we are only able to pass this feedback on to the development team.
Hopefully, other players will reply here in favor of Proton support and the development team may then look to implement it.
If you need anything further please let us know.
Thank you for your time.
Surely we got enough people here to view and reply to get a follow-up and an email to BattleEye to enable this game now. Whatcha think?
@ubi-viral Siege is one of the few things I actually miss about having a Windows install, but there's no way I'm leaving Linux. I would love to see Proton/Wine support for Siege, and would happily pop on and drop some cash to catch up on all of the characters I have missed out on (haven't played since Year 4, Operation Burnt Horizon).
Please make this happen!

Would love to see this!
Really liked playing r6, but since I switched to linux I was just too lazy to dual boot to windows every time. I would finally be able to start playing actively again!
@ubi-viral I would only be willing to play this game if it is made available on linux. It looks quite fun tbh and I'd very happily spend some money to support devs who support Linux. Plus, think of the benefits of being one of the first competitive shooters to be made available, I'm sure it would draw in many linux gamers.
@ubi-viral I would love to see this game get Proton support!!! Plus, it would mean more profit for Ubisoft because more users = more profit!
Honestly did not expect this many people to share support for this matter. I think this is a great turnout and the Ubisoft team won't ignore our opinions. Can always count on the Linux community to speak up

@ubi-viral Here's another vote from me, I've posted on Steam's discussion boards regarding Proton and never saw any official response, I hope this does!
Yeah I want battleye proton support enabled. I'm not gonna bother setting up vfio or a dual boot, windows feel like too much of a chore.
