I think I put this in the wrong forum topic, so I repeat It here:
When I launch Ubisoft Connect, It says "Looking for Patches" , after that "Logging IN" and after that "Inotializing".... And it stays like that fot a lot of time. First , after some time I receive a notification that Ubisoft Servers are not acessible. I restart and the proccess is reoeated and no notification at all. After many minutes finally I can eneter Ubisoft Connect. Let's say that Whwn <i sarted wroting this it was in the second proccess for some time, and only during my exposition I saw Ubisoft Connect window..
Please try to see what is happening. It's my problem? No? What can or must I do?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hi @SVMA_15 I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue logging into Ubisoft Connect on one of your devices.

Could you please go through the following troubleshooting:

    • If using a VPN please disable it temporarily.
    • Please make sure the game launcher and whichever game you would like to play is set to Run as Administrator.
    • Run through our connectivity steps for the connect launcher here.
    • Check your network restrictions, disable IPv6 and disable your Proxy in your network settings on Windows by following each step in the support article here.
    • Try a Network reset >
      1. Click on the Windows symbol on the bottom left of the screen.
      2. Click on the Gear to access the Settings page.
      3. Click on "Network & Internet"
      4. Click on "Network Reset"

Please confirm if this resolves the issue.

Hi @joaomos_pt, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues with the Ubisoft Connect client. In order to investigate this further, please first try clearing your Ubisoft Connect cache, as well as completing this troubleshooting guide. If the issue persists after these are completed, please let me know!

After the last update of your launcher, the login takes a very long time. Initialization .... and so it can critique from 1 minute to 5 (a couple of times there was a blah.blah.blah connection error,) but when you click "try again" it immediately enters. I do not use IPv6 proxy, I cannot disable it because of the provider (this is how my gigabit Internet is configured). Can you advise anything else? And by the way, the question is why ALL launchers (battlenet, steam, origin, gazebo and epic) work perfectly except yours?
Great games but you can't play it badly ((

    Hey @pozzitivua

I'm sorry to hear you are having long login times to Ubisoft Connect. Could you try just uninstalling it and reinstalling it first of all please?

You can also try running it as admin. You can do this by right click the .exe files before launching them and choose the "run as administrator" option. Also by right clicking and choosing "Properties" then go to the "Compatibility" tab and ticking the box to "run as administrator" option and clicking "apply".

The only other thing I can suggest is the connectivity troubleshooting here if you are able to try this too.

Let us know how you get on.

I've cleaned the cache and the problem persists.
I've restarted the router and the same.
I must tell you that I have a wirelees connection fro my comuter that uses teh total bandwidth given by my ISP, i.e., 200 Mb. The downloads from your server and others are made at 27,4 MB/s through wireless. Esverythhing is working fine.
I have sveral other clients, like Steam, Origins, Epic Games, Rockstar, Battele Net, Discord and others, and all they work perfectly.
I don't think the problem comes from my ISP or Internet connection. All the other games work perfectly and even when I gey connection to Ubisoft Connect the games go perfectly. Since I began writing this I am stopped at initializing and have received 2 messagess saying "A Ubisoft service is currently unavailable. Please try again. I'm goin to shut down the client through Task manager and restart again your client. Here I am waiting at Initializing. Today it's dificult. I think it's worst since I cleaned the cache. Finaly, about 5 minutes after I said i Resarted I have your client working..
I can't change my IP cause it is automatically designated by my ISP. And look, everything but your client is working fine. So as I am not a pro of b networks, I am afraid to do some procedures. I repeat .that my connection with Internet is perfect, till now. Only your client has thsi problem from some time
I just received in the botto of your client a message - "While you continue playing, we'll restore the connection to a service that just got interrupted. Some things might look a little odd in the client in the meantime" .
Pleasa help me to put everything correct. It seams that the problem remains with your service.

I stopped my exposition to start a game. I satrted Assassinns creed valhala and everything went fine. Even the synchronzations, which sometimes fail (I repaeat and then go correct), have worked fine and quicly. So,I think the last message I described to you say everything about the question

    Sorry to be back again.
I left the game and received a message that Sinckronization of my achivments with cloud failed. I insisted several times. The same message at the bottom of your client was again present. After some time the message disapeared I repeated the sync and it did perfect.
I hpe these indications I'm trying to give you help

@pozzitivua I'm sorry that the issue still persists for you after trying those steps. Would you be able to test creating a new Ubisoft account and logging in with it, just to see if it is the same issue with a new empty account? This will help determine if it's an issue with the account or the connection. I have also just merged your thread with another one. Could also try the step mentioned above to clear the cache too please?

@joaomos_PT Thanks for the information you have provided. Would you also be able to try logging in with a new Ubisoft account just to troubleshoot this and see if it's the same result?

If I create another acount I will have no games there, correct. And when I launch Ubisoft connect how does it know in which account I am?

"Would you also be able to try logging in with a new Ubisoft account just to troubleshoot this and see if it's the same result?"
    - froggard probably means - you should play through steam and leave connect 🙂 #LOL

    • or maybe he should reinstall the whole pc with OS and everything..

(i am joking, but it is not that far away from ubi std list of workaround)

as to confirm the erroneous connect:

    • connect does not connect, it stays at initialization for me as well since some hours

    on all my connect accounts..

As I can see the problem is afecting several clients and accounts, even several accounts in the same client. Maybe you should look inside and see why server connections take so many time and interrupt. For the moment I've been connected since my last post, I have updated WatchDogs Legion at 28,9 MB/s and I have played a little with it. No problems at all. But, I never disconnected Ubisoft Connect. I'm afraid to do it, because each day takes longer to get a stable working interface

The new account works like a clock, but what should I do? The main account does not want to work ((( Two-factor authentication enabled

@joaomos_pt Correct, you wouldn't have any games there. This is just for investigation to see if we can identify if it's an issue with specific accounts and see if we can see similarities between them. We will report this to be looked into, we just need information like this to pass on to the Ubisoft Connect development team when reporting it.

@PoZZitivUA Thanks for testing another account and letting us know the result. @oO_HODOR_Oo could you also test this please and let us know if it's the same for you (working fine with a new account but not your main)?

As mentioned, we'll be able to report this with just a little more information on this and keep you updated on what's happening. Could you all let us know which ISP you are with too please, as that is also something that we sometimes need to look into as a possibility if it all turns out to be the same.

i have already tested it with multiple account. i will not create a new one for kicks.
i have waited - and after an hour it was ok with all accounts - time - and possible back end fixture - always solves these, no need to reinstall and stuff

Hello, i also have this issue. Its stuck on initialization right now. Been stuck there for 10 minutes atm. I have just reinstalled it but that didn't help at all. I tried to create a new account and log in with that. That actually worked but it doesen't help me that much. I waited awhile before posting this. It has gone 20 minutes now and connect is still initializing

Hello @joaomos_pt thank you for letting me know of this 'initializing' and 'Servers not accessible message.

To help resolve this issue, would you please try following all of the steps >

    FIX 1:
First of all please check our Ubisoft Help website for any news banners that state there may be degradation with our servers in your area > https://www.ubisoft.com/help

    FIX 2:
Check to see you are not using an outdated Ubisoft game launcher.
If you are using an outdated version of Ubisoft Connect, or you are using our previous launcher Uplay, please download the Ubisoft Connect launcher here > https://ubisoftconnect.com/
Install the game launcher in the same file directory as any old Ubisoft launchers.

    FIX 3:
Run the program with Administrator rights, but enable this in the games Properties menu, permanently, by right-clicking on the launchers .exe file and the games .exe file, selecting its Properties menu, selecting the Compatability tab, then check the Run as Administrator box.

    FIX 4:
Please try deleting the Ubisoft Connect 'cache' folder, please view this article on how to locate this > https://www.ubisoft.com/help?article=000061966

Please let me know if you are then able to log in and connect, after following all of the above steps?
