Unsolved Hardcore Mode Crashing PC

Played for hours over the weekend on normal toon without any crashes, not even glitches then a couple of random crashes on HC mode, one of which killed my HC toon. Unless I'm mistaken I thought HC toons were played on normal servers and not specific servers for HC? If so why would there be a bug causing crashes in HC mode only?

Went back to main toon and repeated the mission DCD Headquarters and completely smooth, not even a stutter.

Started another Hardcore toon and crashed just before leaving the White House at the start, logged back in and checked my connection status. I'm not sure what Packet Loss means but it was between 4-10% then eventually went to 0%. Over the weekend had 6 or 7 crashed only affecting Hardcore mode. Played without and issues for hours daily on normal toon.

Also these crashed happened not long after logging into the character.

Had another crash in Hardcore mode within 5 mins of logging in, this time Packet Loss was 0% on relog. Went back to normal character and played over an hour without issue. What is going n with HC mode?

Just another small note these crashes are happening on a 1-30 level toon.

I'm sorry to hear you have been getting crashes on hardcore mode. I can't see this being a known issue but it's strange if you are only getting them on hardcore. Do you get any specific error messages when it crashes?Official Response -
No error messages, game just freezes then I have to close using task manager.

@pyrotekn1k Ah right OK. Would you be able to try reinstalling the game to a different drive if you have space on one and see if this improves anything?
