Hello to all agents and developers!
I got an interesting offer to support The Division 1 here.
I was very disappointed with the size of the map in the regular edition, shown at E3 during the presentation, the map is much more interesting, you can explore different territories for a long time.
Suggestion: Add new areas to the map, new tasks, new equipment, weapons, increase the size of the map, new rewards and achievements.
Honestly, after 300+ hours of playing, the monotony is already a little boring.
Conclusion: The game is excellent, I still play, but there are points for improvement, the proposal is described above. I honestly love New York and would like to see more locations. And we did a good job, big Like.
Support the game, the game is great
What do agents and developers think about this?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@hallstead-vr they instead made The Division 2
The team that made TD1 & TD2 are currently working on Avatar & Star Wars. A new team was brought on to work on new TD2 content, which supposedly will drop this Winter. A different team is making a F2P "Division Universe Based" offering called Heartlands.
Fingers crossed they start The Division 3 development once Avatar is launched.
TL:DR - unlikely - consider picking up the Division 2, with it's WONY expansion
@latenitedelight i disagree about division 2 because i didnt like the setting, the only improvement it had was the inventory, but the rest of the ui changes, changes to controls (swapping dismantle from left click to right click gamepad stick for no good reason?) the poor matchmaking (calls for aid, agent dead and respawned by the time you got there, so gave up quickly), and the warlords dlc is fine... if you were able to go back to washington at any time, and dont have to kill keener to do that or to access that skyscraper thing. i paid for content i cant do because i cant kill keener.
oh and the specialisations, which are utterly pointless and logically inconsistent (a ghost world yet they manage to do expensive r&d on a new gadget? everyone should be farming and herding just to survive). the great thing about div 1 was customisable loadouts and skills. or, NO set classes. you need someone to be a healer in a group, no problem they switch a couple of skills. there was no need for specialisations, which just lock something in stone because you cant upgrade all of them or switch on the fly as needed.
i deleted an agent in div 2 because stuck in new york unable to kill keener, and no aid came when i called. then i felt so disillusioned with the empty world (miraculously filled with high tech black tusk once the campaign ended, and where they messed up the world tier system by FORCING it to go up if you replay the final 3 boss missions, and being unable to lower it again if your agent turned out couldnt handle the new world tier... nothing was wrong with the div 1 system of world tiers, pick one you enjoyed and you could replay all the missions, not have 3 off limits in case your agent became unusable at next world tier...)
if there is new content coming for division 2, i wont be buying it. if they want to fix division 2 to let you pick world tiers, not force you into steadily more difficult ones and not let you drop back down if its not fun, to let you return from new york if you fail to kill keener, or dont like it, rather than nuke an agent and give up on a dlc you paid for entirely, and drop specialisations entirely, get the skills back closer to div 1 (where they worked and didnt feel nerfed to uselessness, turning division 2 into just another shooter with some cool looking effects) then maybe i will reinstall it. but it will take a long time if they did all that before i trusted them enough to buy another dlc or the next division game.
personally the setting was the mistake which i feel sent the original team on a whole spiral of wrong choices in design. skyscraper thing may be good - i can never play it because of the keener fight (and i could criticise that all day long - whats the point being a division agent and all the gadgets if you are prevented using them in that fight? why bother having them in game at all if keener just turns every skill you been using against you and all you have is your guns. might as well just call it Call of Divisionite and make a fortnite clone...).
division 3 maybe they can write off the second game as a simulation running while the govt are trying to cope with the real dollar flu still - ie its a computer simulation planning for a worst case scenario. then they can show another agent story in chicago or in houston, or miami, or even some agent stuck in europe (maybe in london) ordered to help an allied government (though i doubt it would work since getting military grade guns in numbers is not possible in reality in europe so there wont be the same chaos you see in manhattan).
but they wont return to division 1, probably the game engine for that game is maxed out with what it has. i notice that you actually load into a new location entirely just to access the underground dlc, just like for the dark zone (another thing messed up in div 2; changing the gear rules, and splitting the dz from a big area into teeny weeny areas, it effectively dropped the pve part and became a pvp ganker only zone, and so few players play dz in div 2 when i was playing.)
i seriously doubt they would continue div 1 support once div 3 comes. i think the game is too good to just kill the servers and let it die, but while i would wish for a final patch to remove the need for servers, so the dz just became an area for pve with higher ranked and more npc enemies, i dont see them doing it. they should do. div 1 deserves it. but if they do any final patch it will likely stop you entering the dz at all, remove matchmaking from mission options, and mean that once the campaign is done, you have to delete an agent to replay or just farm the light zone named enemies as your only hope to gear up.
originally brooklyn was larger in the announcement, and had its own darkzone. i still think that could have been a great dlc - in your and faye's absence, and once manhattan was pacified, you had to go back and regain control of the brooklyn area, with a new darkzone with higher chance - or better a chance to pick - what classified sets drop from enemies.
anyways tldr is, they wont go back to division 1. when they get tired of trying to fix division 2 for non pro gamers to enjoy (and failing) then div 3 will be made and div 1 servers killed. they wont stop selling the game of course. then you complain the game has no servers and they offer you a refund to their new wallet not back to your bank account, so you have to buy another game instead.
@davidhines1
You have no clue what you are talking about re Div 2.
If you didn't manage to kill Keener in story mode, giving up was probably the right move for you.
And there will be NO new DLC for Div 1, like ever.
@adrian-11 i played div 2 so i know exactly what im talking about. it sounds to me like you dont play div 2.
i agree there will be no new dlc.
IMHO the big mistake of Div2 is that it is two SEPARATE games, one for characters that go to NY and one for those that stay in DC - with no ability to share weapons and gear. Besides that NY in D2 is tiny, it took me less than 2 days to do all of its story content. They should add a path for DC-only characters to use level 40 gear without changing the types of missions that you get in work tier 5. They already have difficulty adjustments when teaming up, so it should be easy.
As to Div3, based on various posts it seems that it will be a F2P microtransaction-based PvP only game, based on the American mid-west. Apparently it was originally planned for this year but got delayed. Not sure if they can attract enough players for that.
@davidhines1
I have no doubt you played TD2 but as the previously reply said, if you couldn't kill Keener on storymode then deleting your agent and moving on to another game was probably a smart move.
Like Keener on storymode isn't exactly hard content, and if you somehow couldn't match make for a group then yeah probably best if you move on to something a bit easier
