Let me start by saying I LOVE THIS GAME. I have over 405 HR 24 MIN 7 SEC invested into it and I am a daily player. I know, it's a lot. I login daily to collect Opal mainly since all of the quests and maps are completed. Opal is the 'dangling carrot' that keeps daily players like me coming back -- the hope that one day we might get rewarded for our daily dedication to the game and actually buy something from Reda that is either highly desired, useful or both.
I currently have over 1,700 Opal saved up because frankly, the offerings from Reda have been awful. I am posting this HERE in the Support forums because Reda's Shop system is not working as intended. It can't possibly be. Let me explain.
Starting last month I began to track the weekly and daily items for sale by Reda. An overwhelming 75% has been tattoos or settlement decorations. That is unacceptable. Looks broken.
We applauded Ubisoft when they increased Reda's weekly offerings from 3 to 6! It brought the promise of more useful items to spend our Opal on and more motivation to login daily.
However, over time more and more Helix packs have been released and the amount of tattoos, settlement decorations, longship cosmetics has drastically increased. This is making Reda's RNG for Opal buyers a losing proposition. And in turn, is going to drive away the daily players.
Suggestion: Of Reda's 6 Weekly items, there should be one of each category: Armor, Weapon, Mount/Bird, Tattoo, Settlement decoration, Longship cosmetic. Simple right?
The second problem with the current iteration of Reda's store is the REPEATED OFFERINGS. Why on Earth are we being offered the same items 3 or 4 times?? It should never happen.
I hope Ubisoft considers revamping the way Reda does business because this version is a real turn off. Literally, turning off the game after seeing what he has to offer. =/
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I've been watching Reda's shop since 24th March and there are repeat items. Perhaps that's by design and/or is totally random but it's irritating to get XXX again when there are other items of interest. Can this be adjusted so that eventually all the pieces are guaranteed to appear before repeats start?
Gothic Figurehead (27th March daily, 18th April daily)
Black Raven Armor (30th March daily, 10th May daily)
Black Raven (Back) (30th March weekly, 16th April daily)
Blood Eagle Totem (30th March weekly, 28th April daily)
Valkyrie Effigy (1st April daily, 22nd April daily)
Muspelheim Brasero (10th April daily, 4th May weekly)
Hello @SpirantCrayon22,
Thank you for bringing this to our attenrtion!
The items available in Reda's shop are appearing on rotaton based on additional items available to purchase. However, I'll pass your feedback along to the team
If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
only got to it this morning
five days in a row
Alsvinder (20th April weekly, 14th May daily)
six days in a row now
Helhest (30th March weekly, 15th May daily)
this is beginning to look quite bad, there are dozens and dozens of items that have not appeared in the last six/seven weeks yet eleven have now shown up twice in that time
Niflheim Hood (13th April weekly, 21st May daily)
That's 13 items in Reda's shop that have appeared twice since 23rd March. Rather than having seen 111 items, we've only seen 98. Given how little is given in opal as it is compared with how much items cost, this seems an arbitrary and unnecessary further reduction in the speed with which we can acquire items.
and again today
Angelus Mortis (6th April weekly, 22nd May daily)
since 23rd March
14 items twice
98 unique/112 possible
Another repeat, the 15th since 23rd March.
Huldufolk Hood (30th April daily, 24th May daily).
@spirantcrayon22
I really appreciate your work here. I also noticed that some things are offered more often. Thanks
Oh come on Ubisoft, this is terrible.
The Niflheim Armor has appeared for a third time in the last month (26th April daily, 12th May daily and now 25th May weekly). As mentioned, dozens and dozens of items have not appeared once in that time.
On top of that, today has two blank slots. I presume they are Berserker items. Someone'll put up a video on YouTube, I suppose, to confirm this, I remember that you cannot ask your colleagues for this information.
The blank items are indeed both Berserker items. Berserker Shields (ship, this is the daily item) and Berskerker Hood (weekly item).
@spirantcrayon22
you are correct with the Niflheim Armor, i didnt have a list but this armor i saw often now. When i saw it at Redas shop again i was sure you post it.
Also i have only 5 weekly items and no daily.
Now another one has appeared for the third time since I started looking. I think Ubisoft's customers would appreciate less of this repetition. I certainly would, it is a poor show.
Gothic Figurehead (27th March daily, 18th April daily, 29th May daily).
Valkyrie Armor (27th April weekly, 31st May daily)
Since 23rd March there have been 127 slots for items but only 108 unique items have appeared. Fourteen items have appeared twice, two items have appeared three times and there was nothing in the daily slot for anyone yesterday.
In this time, eleven Draugr, eighteen Einherjar, twelve Gothic, sixteen Hearthweru, fifteen Hel's Damnation, sixteen Huldufolk, fourteen Niflheim and eleven Valkyrie items have never appeared. Then there are the other sets and items.
I repeat, this is unnecessary curtailing of our options.
