@mohamed-tche95 Hello there!
Thanks for posting a workaround, it's much appreciated.
As you've mentioned in your post that you're now able to run For Honor, we'd just like to check that you've posted in the correct thread, as this issue thread is for Anno 1800. Had you been having issues with the "unable to start the game", and "this product cannot be activated right now" messages as described above?
If you intended to post your reply in a different thread, please feel free to let us know which thread we should move your post to.
@max225719 ill never buy another ubisoft game. i get this error everyday for no reason. Doesn't seem like anything fixes it, completely random.
Hello @lsansone12! I'm sorry to hear you've experienced this issue as well, & completely understand the frustration caused. Could you please confirm if you were able to try the previous workarounds in this thread provided by Ubi-Thrupney & Yassin_Azab? Also, would you please let me know which steps you've already tried? Thanks!
@ubi-nacho Hello yes i had issues with the "Unable to start the game" and "this product cannot be activated right now" messages for For Honor game and yes u have the right i don't wanted to post this message in this thread (Anno 1800), i wanted to help "max225719" who had these issues so i will post it on the good thread and sorry for the time i took to answer^^
Hello, idk if i am late to say what you have to do but maybe it could help other people who have the same problem, so it's really easy (and it worked for me so i hope it works for you too) first you have to go into Ubisoft Connect Files location and you should find a file called "cache" rename this file and write "cachebackup" after that you have to empty the file and last thing close Ubisoft Connect if its not already done and its finished you should can run For Honor without any inconvenience.
@mohamed-tche95 Thank you for your reply and sharing that information. Hopefully, it will indeed help others.
If you need anything else please let us know.
Thank you.
