Unsolved Siege of Paris, Plague of Rats ability does not work correctly in England (Snotinghamscire)

I returned to England and was using the Plague of Rats ability in Snotinghamscire and the area that the rats cover is much smaller than it was in Francia. Maybe this is due to the Pict enemies tending to move away from the arrow or the ground being less level? The rats crowd an area around the arrow maybe the height of the characters and do not move towards enemies like they did in Paris.
