Hello there,
I'm new to the forum and I don't know if there is already a post on this subject
Has the development team already planned a next DLC for Anno 1800 ? (Can't wait for The High Life DLC !!!)
I was wondering if an Asian style DLC was in the works. I would like to see a DLC with a new region largely inspired by Asia that merges Chinese, Japanese and Korean cultures (mix of Qing, Edo and Meiji eras). Thus we would have new cultures such as rice, soy, tofu, wasabi, salmon, shrimp, tuna, tea and so on, so much potential. We could also see the opportunity to develop a story around the Qing princess and her family.
This new region would also be more difficult considering the power of these nations at the time, we could also imagine many pirates in junks. In fact, one can very well imagine that the region would only be available to a certain tier such as engineers or investors. Beyond food, Asia is full of culture and crafts: porcelain, prints, clothes, temple, deities, medicine, science etc. It would be great to have buildings with various Asian architectural styles! The same goes for the landscapes, from rice fields to long rivers, sacred forests and snowy mountains...
Of course, all this would serve the old world restaurants, cafes, shopping malls and hotels (and why not bring tourists to Asia? It's an idea ...)
I hope that one day the developers will work on such a huge project and let their imagination lead them to wonderful ideas !
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hi,
As far as I know there is independent mod called New Horizons. But its still in progress. It look amazing but nobody know whats happening with this mod.

Ive already asked developers about possibility of cooperation with modders, but so far no answers. Fingers cross.
I would love it if this came to fruition, either as a mega Mod or as a DLC if the devs & modders can cooperate
@greedo07
Maybe they may approved in Season 4 in future, but original intent was stop at season 2, then somehow, most would surprised Season 3 approved and go on add to Anno 1800, but they want to forced on old world in season 3, so maybe season 4, then again, it's beyond original intent where season 2 was supposedly stop and original plan to do other project other than anno 1800, would they go further from original intent?
I would love they add to that, but I don't know they got Approved Season 4, that is 2 season further from original intent, thought, it's could be unlikely, not lot of companies would go far unless they see making lot of money or profit and believe in making even more profit.
