I'm playing Siege of Paris, and am powel level 452 with 148 Mastery points.

All enemies I encounter in this DLC have been of red difficulty - even though the region power level is only 200. I have tried changing the Levelling, and had the following results:

Levelling off: All enemies came up as green (easy)
Default: All enemies came up as red (challenging)
Constant: All enemies came up as red (challenging)
Hard: All enemies came up as red skull (overwhelming)
Nightmarish: All enemies came up as red skull (overwhelming)

It seems that "normal" levelling is broken - its either far too easy due to levelling being disabled, or else set to a harder level.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hey there @Thieving_Gypsy - welcome to Discussions! I am sorry to hear that you are encountering issues with the level scaling in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Could you possibly provide images showing each of the situations you have described in your first post? I would like to pass forward your report alongside these images for the development team to advise me of whether this behaviour is intended (due to your high skill and mastery levels) or if there is indeed an issue with the scaling not working correctly when in Francia.

It would be helpful if you could also advise me of the difficulty/gameplay settings you are using for the game itself.

    Thank you! 🙂
