@virtualawesome Good luck getting those suggestions bumped up to the devs. I’m sure the admins of this forum will give your opinions serious consideration and due appreciation.
Now to clarify, saying the drinking games should be optional is not the same thing as making suggestions for improvements to them, so your comment is still technically not relevant to this thread. After all, you admitted that you quit the first time a drinking game was ‘forced’ upon you, so by your own admission, you haven’t played through one correctly, nor actually won a drinking game.
I agree with @bielik01 here... you’re just being a Negative Nancy. -
@virtualawesome Scrolls of Knowledge, iron ore, leather, titanium... but I guess you don't buy that either.
@bielik01 Sorry, I missed this post in all the back-and-forth. Your assumption is incorrect as well. I have used most of my silver for purchasing iron ore, leather, titanium, and nickel ingots to upgrade my equipment. I still have a massive amount of silver left because the completionist side of me has spent a lot of time collecting every treasure on the map so far. I don't need side games for silver. To be fair, I got a complete armor set and shield because I pre-ordered the Ultimate addition. It did not cost as much to upgrade. But I have upgraded weapons and a second armor set, so a decent amount of resources was still required.

@virtualawesome well... I guess you would have enough of resources from clearing all maps of the chests just to upgrade two armor sets. Why not to step the game up and upgrade every piece of gear in the inventory? But that's probably a discussion for another thread. In this one let's stick to the suggestions about drinking games.

I'm just posting quickly in here to advise that after posts in the thread were flagged, the latest posts in the thread have been removed for derailing the thread further and further, and taking it into the territory of an argument rather than a civil discussion about the suggestions @TheNorfolkian and @VirtualAwesome have each shared with regard to the drinking games.
You each have different opinions on the perks and merits of participating in the drinking games in Valhalla; that is fine! But please remember to be polite and respectful towards each other, and not take the thread off-topic. At this point, I urge you both to cease this discussion and continue to discuss the theme of the thread only, which is how you each feel the drinking games could be improved or else made more rewarding. I do feel that a discussion of whether they should be mandatory to any degree or their inclusion in the game as a whole should be made into its own discussion.

@ubi-woofer Since a hotfix or some other an unreported update has eliminated the repeatability of the drinking games as of TU 1.5.1 or sooner, I think it would be fair to mark this thread as being RESOLVED, or to CLOSE it. Thank you.
Please extend my dissatisfaction to the development team for not notifying us players that this change was not announced in the notes for TU 1.5.1, nor was there any news of a hotfix, if that was alternatively the case. Thank you.
