Quick Suggestions

I've been thinking on how to rework nokk and the feedback that the devs provided on reworking her.
Nokk currently is becoming obsolete due to the many traps being added to the game, players need to rely less on camera vision to gain intel on attackers.
One thing is very clear, they want a stealthy operator for siege that is extremely difficult to learn and doesn’t have the ability to rush.
I've had a good look at caveira to get an idea of what the devs are looking for when they ask for a difficult stealth operator.

    So here I go:

Caveria’s entire design is to outflank enemies rapidly and quietly, Nokk has the quietly part, but not the outflanking part, being a 2 speed that makes noise when running is a big drawback. That’s why I’m going to suggest turning Nokk into a 3 speed, and have her stealth gadget match caveira’s, that means every sound Nokk makes, is dampend: dropping from hatches, running, vaulting etc.

Next, remove the glove & ping sound when toggling Nokk’s gadget. This is a pointless nerf to the gadget, neither vigil, nor caveira has this penalty. It makes the gadget frustrating and severely hinders Nokk’s ability to stay in stealth close to enemies, much less attempt to outflank them.

Finally, her weapons. Everyone already knows by this point that Nokk’s weapons for an attacker are not the greatest, while it works for Caveira, as caveira has a iron-sight-DMR in disguise, Nokk does not come with great weapons. That’s why I’m going to suggest the ARX200 with a forced silencer (just like zero’s pistol). Why?
People have always been asking for the following things for Nokk:
    - An AR.
    - A silenced primary weapon.
    - A gun that matches the rifle magazines on her chest.
We can slap all 3 birds with 1 stone, the silenced ARX200 meets every request. Not only that, the gun is also not top tier in this configuration, effectively not giving Nokk an overpowerd primary. Not just that, the gun also has only 20 rounds, preventing Nokk players from rushing, as the gun needs to reload often and doesn’t have an easy recoil.

I hope Ubisoft listens to my suggestion and tries out my idea in their developer build, I love ubisoft’s design for Nokk, however she feels like a character still in Beta. Under picked, underpowered, pointless gadget penalties, and lacking basic game design elements like a default attacker gun. I’ve played this game for 1500 hours now, and Nokk is the character that drew me into siege in the first place, I’ve been hoping for a balance rework for a long time.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
