I’m currently playing the game and during the mission into the fog where you have to look for clues on the cursed I have to go into a town which then leads me underground to look for clues and one of the clues is a man in a locked cell but the door is locked and there is no key to be found any where in the area and it’s preventing me from progressing in the story.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Re: [Into the fog key to prisoner cell not appearing](/topic/98463/into-the-fog-key-to-prisoner-cell-not-appearing)

I have the same problem as him.
What I tried = 1. restart the game - load from the Manuel save file | 2. teleport to different locations and even back to Englaland and back. | 3. let Ubi Connect check the files.

One of the enemies (in front of the cell) should have the key but...no one has it.

Is there meanwhile a solution for this?

    Hello.

I was playing AC: Valhalla - Wrath of the Druids

I was exploring around, killing stuff for resources for the trade posts.

I went into some underground site in Tuam accessed by a large opening in the ground, killed everything, had fun.

When I the started the main quest a bit later, and it came to the: "Into the Fog"-quest, where you are supposed to go into that very cave I mentioned above, find clues, and a key to open the prison cage to talk to a man to get the last clue, the key isn't present on the mob that was supposed to have it, because I killed it hours before?

I don't have the key either, as the game states that I need a key to open the cage.

I've watched numerous walkthrough videos, so I know which mob it is.

Wrath of the Druids is broken for me, because of this...

Where's the key? Can you reset the quest/area somehow? I can't get any progress until the issue is solved. It's super frustrating...

Help me, please. I love the game, and want to continue playing in Ireland.

I don't have any recent saves pre-dating exploring. I use seven different ones, so a lot of time has passed saving-wise.

I've also tried to clear my cache, to no avail.

    Restarted console.

    Teleported to England and back.

Completed Siege of Paris, came back to England, then Ireland, nothing....

While progressing through the "Into The Fog" quest to uncover the identity of the The Cursed, I was exploring in the cave underneath Tuam, and am currently stuck trying to find the last clue.

There is a prisoner in a cell, and in order to open the cell I need to obtain a key. However, none of the enemies in the cave had the key on them, and using Odin's sight did not reveal the key anywhere else.

I have tried restarting the game, travelled to other regions and back, and letting Eivor die to desynchronise. I also verified the integrity of the games files through the Ubisoft launcher. When I verified the files, and returned to the Tuam cave, all of the enemies except one, had respawned. Again, none of the respawned enemies had the key on them. Maybe the enemy that didn't respawn had the key? But it won't let me loot him.

Playing on PC. Unfortunately the only other recent save I have is from several hours prior to my current state, and I do not want to have to start again from there.
