Right after you save the Queen, you have to follow the Queen to a safe place to talk. The Queen walks back inside the cave you saved her from and get's stuck in there. Whatever i do, she will not move.
Is there a fix for this?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello there,
As we have had no reports of this issue with "The Queen's Gambit" persisting in game following the release of TU 1.3.2, we will now be locking this thread.
If you encounter any further trouble with "The Queen's Gambit," please don't hesitate to create a new thread so we can investigate further.
Thanks!
Hey @Dragon_Arcane83
Thank you for reaching out to us and reporting this!
This issue does sound very close to something that has already been passed to the team.
Have you recently Saved / Loaded a Save before this mission?
@ubi-theberry Awesome, because I've got exactly the same problem and loading does not help at all...
Any ideas? Playing on PC.
Same issue, playing on pc. Tried fast traveling, verifying files even going back to England and back to France, same issue no matter what. When queens gambit starts she waltzes right back into the cave and stays there. Such a shame because I was actually really enjoying this DLC so far.
@dragon_arcane83 Exact same issue. Playing on PC. Exited game multiple times then loaded previous states and nothing changed. Still experiencing the issue.
Guys, solution is simple - instead of doing campaign quests take care about rebel missions, after 5 or 6 Queen transported herself to Lisieux. Cheers!
Hey guys,
Thank you for the updates and @Et4hiel , thank you very much for sharing this workaround!
Could the rest of you please give this a try and let us know if this works for you too? As this would be very beneficial for the team to know.
@Dragon_Arcane83
@Myles_P
Thanks guy!
@ubi-theberry my last manual save is from just before i assasinate The Little Mother. Previous save before that is from a few hours earlier.
I already tried lading a previous save game, fast travel put of the cave and come back. But the Queen remains stuxk at the top of the stairs in the ritual chamber.
Hey everyone,
Thank you for continuing to report and discuss this issue whereby Richardis does not leave the cave properly after you save her, rendering it impossible to proceed in "The Queen's Gambit".
If you did not save your game and reload beforehand, and that scenario is not applicable to your situation, then this sounds like a separate issue to the one that the development team are already aware of. It would therefore be jelpful if I could receive images or video clips demonstrating the issue of Richardis being stuck in the cave, and not progressing to the next location. If you could also provide a screenshot showing the exact objective that you are working on in the quest, that would also be a big help.
Please do let me know as well whether trying the workaround posted by @Et4hiel allows you to proceed (thanks for this!):

@Roskmeg, I'm very glad to hear that the workaround worked for you already. Thanks for letting us know!
Please also do try summoning your mount outside the cave and see whether Richardis follows you to it. We have a suspicion that the issue may be caused by an absence of her own mount, but that she may join you on yours alternatively, so we'd like players to test this. I'll keep you all updated on this issue as best I can once the investigation gets started!
I had saved some time before this mission (maybe 15 mins) and did try to save and reload after the issue happened.
She did leave the cave for me, she didn't get on my horse. After fast travelling, she appeared to be underground. She wasn't in the cave - I searched.
I tried doing a number of other quests and she still appears to be underground, east of the cave quest.
Not sure how to provide a video or screen shot from the PS5 on the forum.
@ubi-woofer Regarding summoning our own mount, it did not help, I tried when I had this problem, but she went back to the cave anyway. In fact after leaving the cave her horse cannot be found and you are right that it may be the cause of the problem.
IMO you can do anything in the world (for example rebel missions), all you have to do is just wait the time the Queen needs to reach Lisieux alone (on her horse) - you will likely miss the dialogue between her and Eivor but it's better than getting stuck in a campaign
@ubi-woofer the workaround suggested by @Et4hiel has worked for me. After doing 5 rebel quests, the Queen is where she is supposed to be. I can now continue with the story. Thanks!
@ubi-woofer I didn't want to play the Siege of Paris just yet because was expecting this to happen.
Said that,I find myself stuck in bed with loads of time and nothing to do so could you please tell in wich chapter this occurs and what's the name of the mission so I make sure I save prior to starting this mission please??
Thank you.
im not sure if you have done that, but you need to block the rats hole with the moveable shelves for her to move out, if you have done that already, then its a bug i guess.
i've just completed the quest couple of hours ago with no problems.
