I have encountered a bug on PS4 during the "Clues and Riddles" quest in the Glowcestrescire arc so I'm unable to continue with the story after 130 hours.

I'm investigating Tewdwr's fate and I can't investigate the last clue along the back wall in the second room to progress the quest.
Here is a video showing that the triangle button tooltip doesn't appear, I'm also spamming the button while trying to get in a position to activate it but it doesn't work.

The first time I played to this point (first time this bug was encountered) I also had a warning come up that I had to be anonymous to interact with all the other clues too - but I hadn't exited the building to trigger that part of the quest (to put me into combat) so I don't know how I was in combat. This warning hasn't come up since the first attempt but the inability to interact with this clue is still a problem.
I've tried reloading an earlier save before starting this quest - how far back do you have to go? I've reloaded 2 earlier saves prior to starting this quest and fast travel also doesn't help or going to Norway and back.

    I have reviewed this thread:
    https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/83619/resolved-unable-to-progress-with-clues-and-riddles-post-here?lang=en-US
Which lists some similar bugs which were fixed in version 1.2.1 however I'm on 1.3.0 on ps4 and having this issue, it's also locked so I created a new thread.

Are there any other options I should try to get around this bug?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@twulz I have looked at the video provided, you have to break the pots first then you should be able to interact with the clue.

If that does not work please provide another video to show this.
